fnatic have completed the signing of Björn "threat" Pers from H2k-Gaming.
The Swedish player was red-hot favourite to join fnatic and replace outbound Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl after helping the team win the World Esports Masters last month while acting as a stand-in.
He has now earned a permanent move to the Swedish giants, in a switch that HLTV.org understands involved a "friendly transfer fee" due to good relationship between both organisations.
The former EYEballers member is regarded as a suitable replacement for Patrik "cArn" Sättermon, who has voiced his wish to retire from gaming on a number of occasions.
"Its a big honour for me to join the ranks of the currently best CS1.6
team in the world, FnaticMSI," Pers told fnatic's website.
"We had an awesome time in China and I
felt the chemistry between us was great. I think I will be able to
bring some new positive energy and some awesome new tactics to the team.
fnatic's upcoming event will be the Extreme Masters European Continental Finals, from January 14-17 in Cologne, where they will feature:
Patrik "cArn" Sättermon
Patrik "f0rest" Lundberg
Harley "dsn" Örwall
Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund
