Power Gaming have confirmed the Finnish Counter-Strike team has broken down.
There had been reports that the former Crack Clan team could meet an early fate as several of their players had been tipped to serve in the military.
Max "ruuit" Aspe and Tino "tihOp" Puumala have seen their requests to postpone conscription denied by the Finnish government and will as such leave for duty in just two days' time.
Niko "naSu" Kovanen and Samu "plastE" Aalto will take the opportunity to join the army as well, leaving Joona "natu" Leppanen the only remaining player of a team who finished second at the World Esports Masters last month.
"This is a sad end to a team that was coming back to the top of the scene," Lepannen said. "Unfortunately there wasn´t much that could have been done as military service is obligatory in Finland and there´s only so far you can postpone it. Some of the guys had already postponed it a few times due to their CS careers but that wasn´t possible anymore.
"I myself intend to keep playing the game as the experience with the guys on the latter half of 2009 was very encouraging and the spark to play was there again."
Power Gaming CEO Ben Woodward noted the British-based organisation will be looking to add a new line-up to their ranks to fill the spot created by the Finnish squad, whose roster was:
Joona "natu" Leppanen
Niko "naSu" Kovanen
Tino "tihOp" Puumala
Samu "plastE" Aalto
Max "ruuit" Aspe
