H2k line up new team

HLTV.org understands that H2k Gaming have already picked the new faces for their Counter-Strike team.

On Wednesday HLTV.org reported that the Swedish giants had been been reduced to just two players following the departures of Emil "FYRR73" Karlsson and Samuel "Zyppe" Martinsson and the retirement of Jim "zneel" Andersson.

H2k Gaming have now confirmed the stories on their official webpage, which means the team currently has just two members: Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen and Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed.

However, HLTV.org knows that H2k Gaming have wasted no time to rebuild their squad as they have engaged in talks with Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund, Andreas "moddiii" Fridh and Rasmus "GuX" Ståhl.


Tentpole: close to return?

Nordlund has been without a team since being released from SK Gaming in August, allegedly following a row over unpaid wages. Fridh linked up with Begrip less than a week ago after departing Meet Your Makers, but seems to be on the move once again, while Ståhl has been linked with retirement following his departure from fnatic earlier this month.

An official announcement concerning the new H2k Gaming team will be made tomorrow evening.

HLTV.org understands the new H2k Gaming will be as follows:

Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen
Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund
Andreas "moddiii" Fridh

Most interesting here (of course after that how that team will perform :P), but why?

All those guys had say they will retire etc, but still they come back?

How about example Gux, why quit in fnatic and then comeback this team, due Gux was playing very good in fnatic...was there some personal issues with other teammates?

And for you who say "OMG THIS IS CRAZY LINE UP", it will take months of training before they are "good team". Put them now against SK/fnatic, result would be like 16-5 or similar.

But no question, if they stick together long time (no teammates quitting after 1-2months), they will be tough team to beat.

Why they might come back? Because the thrill of playing great matches in front of big crowds with money or good prices on stake is addictive.

I think alot of people want to participate in some kind of challanges, and well, this is their challenge (to get to the top under the name h2k - together)

Tentpole when he feels like it is as good as forest when it comes to fragging. He was always my favourite fragger in SK, so glad he's back.
Gux is also an insane fragger, Spawn is a bit overrated imo but I hope he can prove me wrong and make some insane moves.
This team looks really good on paper, hope they don't make too many changes too quickly if they don't get any results

I second this ffs. When I spec SpawN I almost always see him rush as the first guy and do some damage then get killed. People always look at the stats, but he and his teammates knows that he is important and not the people that just spectate him.

This is because many other players have been able to surpass him. Im not saying that he plays bad, in fact he does help the team he is in, but there are too many new talents these days.

barbarr has had a couple good showings on lan but he isn't overrated..people don't talk about him to much..

no im not and well thats your opinion , i agree that these guys are all top aimers and for example f0rest is my fav player and have been for long time. but just let you know that moddii won that one aim_map tournament sometime ago with beating gtr in the final and many other guys before that. anyway you cant judge them only by that but it proves that his hell of an aimer , you should watch his pov vs mTw , i think it was final of dh winter , not sure though.

Delpan imo, was a better overall player than moddiii when he was in mym..zet has been playing great, and pita is unbelievable..not to mention they're picking up FYRR73, so they're in no way a one man team, delpan and pita are just the most consistent.

i'm watching fnatic whole year. The key for their succes was gux, get_right and f0rest, dsn looking good but only where that trio play good.
Now gux out, get_right and f0rest can't play for whole team! I'm talking about future!

threat is fucking weak, he always close the statistic in h2k and in fnatic too. He is lame and with him fnatic down!


AGAiN when prepare for next event show you guys how to beat fnatic!

h2k and united looks promising too, and for me mouz together with mym can show something this year.

So it is my opinion and we see who wrong.

This is the best lineup I have seen a long time not only because it has 5 yes FIVE of my top10 favourite swedish players of all time but all of them are insane with every gun, I just hope that Snajdan brings good strat's because the aim and gamesense is CERTAINLY there. I used to refer to tentpole as Professor CS beacuse of his appearance and he is the clutch king, and I agree with someone before who said he is as good as a fragger as f0rest is when he is on.

MODDII is just an insane aimer who you want to be the first into a site and with GuX who is probably the smartest entry fragger they can't really not take a site haha.

Snajdan and SpawN need no introduction ofcourse two sick gamers who have been around forever and both been at the top a long time, well now its time to get back up there, its only really MODDII who hasn't been up there a good length of time, but he definetly has what it takes he is like GTR but way more consistent.

Get-right and forest both are legend players,but u have to see,they work together with best caller in the world(carn),that make them easily into a killing machine.Look back at what they use to be,when forest is in Begrip,and GR in sk and lemon-dog,they didnt win much of an event.Dont look at cs as a one-man's game.When I say moddii and hibb are ones of these best shooters,just for aiming and shooting part.Archi was the best gunner in fnatic,but he didnt kill the most.People misunderstand about whoever frag most is the best shooter,I just have to say that's stupid.
DO NOT Judge player's skill by the frag number.
Just like when u look at a hacker,even if he get negative frag, he is still a hacker.Dont use number to tell a player.

i'm not totally agree with u , we overrate a player sometimes by the number of frags he has in 1 match, but when he constantly bring up great numbers , especially vs big teams , it can only means that he's a great player !!!

lol,just talking about shooting part,the old fnatic team(ins,carn,archi,dsn,forest) metion who was best shooter in the team,they said archi,because the % of HS.Well,old begrip clan(Iskall,forest,tentpole,robban and Calippo) didnt do well at all in top major event:WCG,ESWC,CPL until they reunited and get Carn,and dsn in the lineup changed clan to Fnatic,that's the 1st time they start beating SK,mtw and MYM(AGAIN).A leader(caller) means so much to a clan, u can see how EG is doing right now,compare at 5 years ago,when tr1p is still the caller.They havent win any 1.6 international event yet.
when Gux and GtR fit in Fnatic they have that kind chemistry,even GtR and Forest are their top frag shooter,they win a lof of final's by the deadly awper Dsn,especially CT side.
i honestly think cs is not 1 person's game,all the legend clan have 1 top caller(carn,kapio,Taz,ave),1 awper(dsn,cyx,kuben,sunde),and at least 2 top gunner(forest,GtR;Roman,gob b.Neo,loord,zonic Arcadion),the structure to bulid top cs clan are very similar.H2K right now is showing that talent,this is really amazing lineup.Just hope they get that chemistry rolling.
GL to h2k and spawn.hope to see they compete with Fnatic,mousesports, SK and mTw in final.

definitely you have some problem in judging players' ability ... you should learn some more about teams and players before putting states like that coz it would confuse newcomers ... well i can help u
1. gob_b = caller for mouz , not kapio
2. kuben = caller for Again , not TaZ
3. awper of Again = pasha. everyteam you mentioned has 2nd awper too (tixo, neo, forest, trace)
4.top gunners from each team you mentioned : forest+gtr,cyx+gob_b/roman, neo+taz, sunde+trace
(base on their current status)

btw when the old begrip lost to SK in CPL dalls,they finish that team,robban went to sk(nip also).Forest,tentpole get carn dsl together to bulid fnatic.I dont think i can call that team a legend if it didnt even stay together every long time.the challenge of WEG1 and 2 is not even close to WEG-master and WCG.Begrip have been developing a lot of great cs players into legent players,but the clan itself havent do much.Not even giving player a stable contracts,even that theyr better than mym,owned that much debt wont pay to formal MYM(again).
anyway.nothing hard feeling.I am totally a fun of GtR and Forest.just saying take a lof of more win .
