Ravens sign Friis

Roskilde Ravens have completed the signing of their recent stand-in Michael "Friis" Jørgensen.

The team had been without a regular fifth, since the departure of Daniel "dalle" Kjersgaard in mid-December of 2009. Since the fall down of Spirit of Amiga, the team used Michael "Friis" Jørgensen as a stand-in, who helped the team defeat MYM in the relegation stage to reach the European Championship Finals.

Jørgensen who had already played for Ravens during 2009 where however not joining, as the organization stressed he was only acting as a stand-in.

The year of 2010 came and Ravens went to perform well at the European Championship Finals, taking third place. Whether this has been the key to signing Jørgensen is unknown, but for a fact is that Jørgensen has now yet again become a member of Ravens.

Danny "BERRY" Krüger
Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Christian "turkizh" Bindslev
Michael "Friis" Jørgensen

This is not the only good news, as the organization has landed a new head partner, being Dansk Metal, who has been supporting Danish e-Sport for some years now. You might recognize the name, as they were the head partner of Spirit of Amiga too.

Ravens will be attending the Inferno Online League Finals this coming weekend in Stockholm, Sweden.

I know it's basically a mix, but p00nhandlers is still a registered team in DEL, and since they're playing in it, i think it's fair to say that they're playing in the team p00nhandlers.

Friis isnt our ingame leader, BERRY is. We just sit with friis in the middle, sinec its easier to communicate on the big and small sites.

I've seen Friis a couple of times (SoA) and he is a stable player and a good aimer.

As Nixon said, i also hope Ravens to be a top team rather than being another underdog without a continuity

Ravens my fav team for sure..zE and turkizh are just insane, I hope they can show amazing results in 2010, my fingers are crossed for them =)

Hopefully this doesn`t hurt their roster, they played amazing in the ESL finals if that`s the correct tournament. Best of luck to their new roster, hope they can still take down top teams such as Fnatic,SK,and mouz.

finaly danish get 2 team in top10 again, it was a bit lonely, when the only team was mTw, after SoA's break down

Good for them. Remembering playing alot of uyR-tour back in 2006 or something with a player named mink and turkizh. Now he is a proffessional, thats crazy :)
