Playzone pick up VIDI

Playzone have announced they have snared Atte "VIDI" Hyväkkä from Soltec.

The Finnish team has decided to undergo roster changes soon after their semi-final exit at the IOL Finals courtesy of SK Gaming.

Hyväkkä, a former member of astralis, will fill in for Markus "shaker" Pyysalo, who has been given his marching orders following his lack of time for Counter-Strike affairs.

"shaker has lost his motivation to play Counter-Strike, the IOL Finals was a big disappointment for our team, we could not really practice before the tournament because he always had something else to do," Otto "danzer" Dimitrow told HLTV.org. "We chose VIDI because we see him as a natural replacement for shaker."

This move leaves Soltec with just four players just two weeks after they made headlines when they announced the additions of Joona "natu" Leppänen and Matti "SPIKEONE" Järvinen to the team.

Playzone will make their first LAN appearances with the new team at The Gathering next month in Hamar, Norway, with:

Miikka "dRiim" Toroi
 Otto "danzer" Dimitrow
 Jirka "jigetus" Ryhti
 Kimmo "BASiC" Fagerholm
 Atte "VIDI" Hyväkkä

Vidi is great player, top 5 in Finland imo, but Shaker played long time with those guys and he is also good, we will see what will happen.

plastE , ruuit , naSu , tihOp , natu , contE , lurppis , jigetus , SPIKEONE and dRiim are all better than vidi imo , he might be around top5 atm but not otherwise.

i know you love atte and he might be in the same line with jigetus and co but theres a big difference between him and guys like plastE , naSu , ruuit etc :D

i know his a caller and it kinda affects when you have to take care of strats etc but he still aint in the same group with these guys , even if comparing the individual skills.
