Patrik "cArn" Sättermon recaps Group A and talks about finishing second in the group, he also comments on the network problems, which took place in the match against Evil Geniuses.
We got a hold of a very tired Patrik "cArn" Sättermon after finishing the group stage at Extreme Masters IV World Championship Finals. He talks about how the network problems affected his team, about playing the relegation stage instead of advancing directly to the playoffs and also believes that SK Gaming will top Group B.
Sättermon furthermore mentions that the mTw squad is truly missing the likes of Jonas "whimp" Svendsen and Muhamed "MJE" Eid, which blew him out of the KODE5 2008 Grand Final. The five and a half minute interview can be viewed below
Sättermon and fnatic will play the relegation stage on Thursday, playing the third place finisher in Group B. For more videos from Extreme Masters IV World Championship Finals, click here.
cArn pretty much explained how much important was that round when they lagged out. If they won(with bomb down in situation 1vs 3 fnatic players I think no player in the world has a chance) what would be expected they would win another round because EG would be on eco next round, instead they lost a round, so the difference actually is 3 rounds and not one.
If you read the prior articles, you would find that EG would no way eco the next round. EG was already 6-2 up and had enough money to buy an awp next round even if they lost this round.
EG was up 6-2 not losing the two rounds in a row going into that "round" so no they wouldn't have had to ego. It only wasn't a pistol round almost automatic +3 round situation. QQ
It must feel like a mental marathon to play the whole day. So I think that just the half of each group should be played on day 1 an the other matches on the next day. That should be easier for the players
