The Intel Extreme Masters IV World Championship is now over and the stats are completed, so we'll recap who performed best throughout the event and in the final.
During their win in the final match, Na`Vi earned the rating 1.04, compared to fnatic's 0.90 (outfragging them 214:190 over the two maps), and have managed to keep the #1 spot in the rankings. At the same time, and somewhat thanks to SK's win in the fight for 3rd place (which kept their rating intact compared to yesterday), fnatic slid down to third place, while SK climbed above them to second.
Even in the final match, Na`Vi have proven that they are the best pistol round team at the event, winning 3 out of 4 first rounds, and making it a total 17 out of 24 (71%).
| # | Team | W | D | L | RW | RL | RW% | Rating |
| 1. | Na`Vi |
10 | 0 | 2 | 204 | 135 | 60% | 1.15 |
| 2. | SK |
6 | 0 | 4 | 136 | 114 | 54% | 1.10 |
| 3. | fnatic |
8 | 0 | 3 | 175 | 135 | 56% | 1.08 |
| 4. | EG |
5 | 0 | 5 | 134 | 133 | 50% | 0.98 |
| 5. | WeMade FOX |
3 | 1 | 3 | 99 | 95 | 51% | 0.98 |
| 6. | mousesports |
4 | 0 | 4 | 119 | 116 | 51% | 0.97 |
Na`Vi have also proven that they are the best team on de_train, as they won on it for the 4th time in a row in the final. And, EG finally played a map other than de_inferno and de_train - it was de_nuke as the decider map for 3rd place.
| Team | de_dust2 | de_inferno | de_nuke | de_train | de_tuscan |
Na`Vi |
2-1 | 3-1 | - | 4-0 | 1-0 |
SK |
1-0 | 2-2 | 2-1 | 1-1 | - |
fnatic |
2-0 | 3-1 | - | 2-2 | 1-0 |
EG |
- | 3-2 | 0-1 | 2-2 | - |
WeMade FOX |
1-0 | 0-1 | 2-1-0 | 0-2 | - |
mousesports |
0-2 | 3-0 | 1-1 | - | 0-1 |
It's worth noting that in the last map of the final, the best performance was seen from Arseniy "Esenin" Trynozhenko on de_inferno (rating 1.31), who stepped up when it mattered the most, even though he was his team's lowest rated player throughout the event. Also, Na`Vi are the only team whose all five players have ratings higher that 1.00, while SK have 4 such players, and fnatic 3.
As far as the entire tournament performances go, the most consistent players were definitely Na`Vi's main duo, Ioan "Edward" Sukhariev and Yegor "markeloff" Markelov, as they had a rating higher than 1.00 in 11 out of 12 matches they played. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that they are the best rated players overall, with Sukhariev at #1, and Markelov right behind him. Sukhariev had the best KPR in the tournament (0.86), which he repeated in the final, with 51 frags in 59 rounds over the two maps. He also takes the Top Fragger, Top Rifler and Top Pistol Round Player awards, while Markelov had by far the best DPR (0.49), and he claims the Top AWP award and Top K/D. The third best rated player was Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund with second-best KPR (0.84), who put up the most resistance during the final for fnatic.
| # | Player | Team | KPR | DPR | Rating |
| 1. | Ioan 'Edward' Sukhariev |
Na`Vi |
0.86 | 0.58 | 1.31 |
| 2. | Yegor 'markeloff' Markelov |
Na`Vi |
0.78 | 0.49 | 1.26 |
| 3. | Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund |

| 6. | Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg |
fnatic |
0.79 | 0.66 | 1.16 |
| 7. | Danylo 'Zeus' Teslenko |
Na`Vi |
0.76 | 0.64 | 1.14 |
| 8. | Rasmus 'Gux' Ståhl |
SK |
0.74 | 0.62 | 1.14 |
| 9. | Min-Soo 'glow' Kim |

0.72 | 0.61 | 1.14 |
| 10. | Harley 'dsn' Örwall |
fnatic |
0.78 | 0.63 | 1.13 |
It also might be interesting to see how the top awpers of the tournament compare to each other, so here's a small overview:
| # | Player | AWP kills | awpKPR | % of all kills |
| 1. | Yegor 'markeloff' Markelov |
129 | 0.38 | 49% |
| 2. | Danny 'fRoD' Montaner |
72 | 0.27 | 40% |
| 3. | Harley 'dsn' Örwall |
54 | 0.17 | 23% |
| 4. | Dennis 'walle' Wallenberg |
53 | 0.21 | 36% |
| 5. | Marcus 'Delpan' Larsson |
47 | 0.34 | 47% |
Be sure to check out the rest of the stats from this event here. Also, we will be uploading POV demos soon, so don't forget to come back and see first hand how these players performed and whether the stats do them justice.
Don't like those awp rankings, it only depends on how much the player uses awp and how long he can use it(I mean walle for example played 9maps more than delpan and got only 6kills more and it puts him behind delpan who is far better...).

(I guess you do)
let me tell you, in terms of skill Na'Vi > EG
c'mon... no one can play like they do because of luck... they are REALLY good.
Na'Vi showed also great play during European Championships and Arbalet Asia, so for now they are keeping their form, and even it's growing!
But I think IEM is boring after they put most big match on train.Nuke should be top map for this kind event, awp on train <3...(even na vi is really playing well, still think they win by these awp tactics.
well,still gl NA VI...
Frod is totally not better than markeloff at this point...
second that their tactics is not around markeloff? mb only on de_train, which is awp map.
third: why nuke?, just explain, i can't get any reason for this..
*EDIT* what's wrong with his teammates dropping him awps? It is a proof that they have confidence in markeloff's ability to snipe. You don't automatically win rounds after dropping an awp for the best sniper in the team. You have to be one of the best awpers to win rounds like what markeloff pulled.

so, if u do the maths, it's better saving an unsure round and have weapons the next one than going head in and lose the round plus the following eco. :)
nicee
Also there was no luck involved with Na`Vi winning. They are a top 3 team, and right now, the best team in the world.
Everything will be settled in the next international tourney, as with this one ;p
fnatic - the best team, train ofc good
NaVi @ train 4 WIN, loose - 0
=)

Olga you are so f***ing annoying, get lost nerd!
Don't worry he'll be dealt with sooner or later.
no equip have play all 5 maps...
btw, delpan should be way higher :)
Esenin = CRUCIAL PLAY
Markeloff = KING AWP :D
they in top10 best players in ua. and they take first five places of it top10. starix created this line up of navi. it's look like with pgs when two best teams in poland made very strong team. this is key of success (best players with good morale from best ua teams)
markeloff started play in pro just in 2005.
of course frod has more experiense and he is better. but awp need good support from all team. navi have made it in this tournament.
and egor was better (look stats..)
other players have oldschool experience. they started with 1.3, 1.5 version and played in top ua\ru teams like: trezzz, pro100, amazing gaming, dts.chatrix, hell raisers, kerchnet, virtus.pro
esenin have not a lot of experience in same level but he is oldschool player too (started with 1.3, 1.5 version. was captain of many east ua teams). so he is very skilled and i think he is grow up
even zerogravity was a top ua player. he played in c58, gsc (captain). he won wcg ua and a lot of another big tournaments in ua\ru territory in 1.5, 1.6 version.. so he is a very good manager :D
good luck navi. you our hope :)

I think SS kinzu's sale is going to go throught the roof...since both f0rest and edward use it :D
I mean if it was unreliable in any way..would they use it in big LANs? :D

Sec,na vi is a really good team. But u see the way they play are very much base on their awpers, just like Sunde with mTw in 2008.Their eco round even if most the time they have about 3000+they wont buy anything(include of flash),drop awps almost every gun round.People should check % instead of killing number, markeloff almost use awps for the entire match.Frod right now is not as crazy as he use to be,but the way he played on awp is away smarter than markeloff(just watch some of the pov u will see),Na vi played great in this event, because the tactics and the balance-team involved gameplay, told u EG|nothing is overrated, even there r so many people wont believe me,SK is probabaly best clan on Train when they have tentpole in the lineup.
BTW whoever said mousesports played great on train is really dump, they lost on train almost every times(0-16 vs former MYM{PGS},and 5-16 mTw).
ELS should put Nuke and inferno for the finals then let both team pick for the 3rd map.
Now Na vi is showing they'r top 3 right now,but staying on top is away harder than winning a tournament like this.We will just see.
Still congratulation NA VI,proved one thing.Without Gux,fnatic is not unbeatable any more.GTR want his best friend(threat) play with him,now U see that result?

edit: Emulate WCG gold 2007 :P but its hard call Eml medium team, maybe they had rarely top 3, but almost always top 8 and been hard oponent for any team. They are more like Mibr.
