WCG 2010 with CS 1.6

WCG has now made their decision of the games for the 2010 season, and once again Counter-Strike 1.6 is featured.

WCG has before been known to switch out 1.6 with other versions of CS, Condition-Zero once, and Source another time, but they seem to have settled on 1.6 for now, and the 2010 season is no exception. A total of 8 titles have been announced so far:

Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne (Blizzard, RTS) (PC)
Counter-Strike (Valve, FPS) (PC)
TrackMania Nations Forever (Ubisoft, Racing) (PC)
Carom 3D (NeoAct, Sports) (PC)Lost Saga (IO Entertainment, Action) (PC)
Guitar Hero 5 (Activision, Music) (Xbox)
Tekken 6 (Namco Bandai Games, Fighting) (Xbox)
Forza Motorsport 3 (Microsoft Game Studios, Racing) (Xbox)

Surprisingly there is so far no Starcraft game announced, knowing WCG this is most likely because of the uncertainty about the release of Starcraft 2, and not because they will not feature any starcraft game, but only time will tell.

HLTV.org will of course be covering this years WCG season, finishing off with the grand finals in Los Angeles in September.

WCG needs to support QuakeLive, but they never really have, so why should they now..

I know Blizzard is licensing SC2 and so far only ESL got one. I and i think thats why WCG haven't listed it.
