NationsCup XIII hits playoffs

Event: CB NationsCup XIII

ClanBase has announced the match-ups for the NationsCup XIII playoffs.

The first-placed teams from the group stage have all been handed a direct entry into the play-offs, while the nations that placed second and third will contest the last four spots in a relegation phase.

Should Sweden move past Lithuania, then they will have to go head-to-head with Germany, while Denmark will meet Scandinavian rivals Norway if they manage to beat Ukraine.

The last two matches of the opening play-off round will put Russia against Estonia, and the Czech Republic against Spain.

Normally I'd agree, but Russia has not been performing well recently in these events so I'd say that it's fairly even this time round.

Of course, ultimately it comes down to the respective lineups, the map choice and luck! :)

I'm not sure if Finland can give any advice about how to play russia, the last time Finland won against Russia or a Finish team beat a Russian team was like 8 years ago.

weird, when equal points, the one with the most rounds win/loss rate is highest on rankins :/ isn't it normally based on wether you beat or loss from the one with same points??? (as marked in the coverage)

I think that this is the best way. In one group:
Norway beat Estonia but lost to Czech.
Czech beat Norway but lost to Estonia.
Estonia beat Czech but lost to Norway.

I know that I said the same thing three times, but the win or loss concept wouldn't work here.
