mTw, Alternate confirmed at CPG

The organisation behind Copenhagen Games has released a provisional list of participating teams in the international tournament.

The event, which will take place at the Øksnehallen expo hall in the heart of Copenhagen from 1-3 April, is due to hand out €6,700 to the top-placed teams in the international Counter-Strike: 1.6 competition.

A provisional list released on the event's website contains teams like mTw, Roskilde Ravens, dakarma, Alternate and XLBET, among others. Another strong contender appears to be SharkGaming, a Swedish/Danish mixture with former players of SK Gaming and Meet Your Makers.

The Ravens' roster lists two stand-ins, Samal "SFM" Mikkelsen and James "Jamze" Lin, which means the DEL champions will have to make do without Michael "Friis" Friis and Rasmus "FaagaN" Møller as the Danish duo are unable to attend the event.

Below you can find some of the top teams confirmed at Copenhagen Games so far:

SharkGaming
Team ALTERNATE
mTw
Roskilde Ravens
dakarma
XLBET

wait and see ;-) Ravens wil perform well :-)

Shark Gaming needs another player instead of zecer, the only reason that he is on that team is he's mate whit wazorn.

EDIT :
I have just seen the Ravens play with jamze and SFM instead of Friis and faagan so think I may give you right in your bid on placements

Their shape arent that bad really. Ofcause, they didnt perform well last time, but that was due to some bad luck and some really close matches imo. Two matches with 14-16 scores, both matches had lots of close rounds who really could have gone either way. I'm Not defending their performance, because it was really bad, but i think their morale was destroyed due to unlucky circumstances with the DDOS attackes and some bad calls. Any way, thats what they have been saying to the public ;)
2010-03-17 12:36:22
Not judge them on Extream Masters, the event was a joke.

Well i dont think so, the prize pool is "only" 3360 EUROS to first place, i dont think this is enough to get teams like fnatic and SK gaming to come :(

I'd like to see ALTERNATE doing something special here. They have been down for quite a while haven't they?
2010-03-17 04:59:16
mTw i don't think is full form yet, so im going with SharkGaming, even though they are a new lineup, they are a top 5 favorite team for me already because of the players that are on that team :)

1. SharkGaming (gogo moddii, qp, and kHRYSTAL)
2. mTw
3. Alternate (gl mooN)
4. dakarma
5. Ravens (w/o friis they may not even get top 4 imo)
2010-03-17 05:03:29
Wanna see mtws sucking.
Interesting what they will do after this way of sucking in a row
2010-03-17 05:16:59
fool.. they had so many problems at IEM and to say a team suck, when they play 14-16 against 2 top-teams, winning another and then loosing a match, which didn't mean anything.. that's just ridiculous.

They sucked in '09 and failed IEM4 Europe / Globals, dont forget their lost to dakarma (hahaha).

Only denmark tards will protect them. Oh wait...

Fanboy of mouz, did you even know that mouz sucked harder in 2009 while mTw won EM continental, won EPS Scandinavia,3rd place Estars Seoul,2nd place supercup,3rd place WCG,2nd place Dreamhack,2nd place Arbalet europe?
And you, fool, can compare it with 1st place GAMEGUNE,1st place Supercup and sucking on EM continental and KODE5(3-4 times they tried to get qualification).
Stupid animal...
2010-03-17 12:39:39
mouz stopped their losing streak :DDDDDDD
they play awesome now
oh wait, mtw keep sucking
2010-03-17 13:19:43
mTw start sucking - YES :D They need changes... But 2009 was not really bad.
2010-03-17 13:35:02
Mb not but mb yes. All say '09 was bad for them and I agree with it. What 'bout now. The team with that name and ambitions has to show top results, but theirs last .. Its just lol.
They keep and started more losing even with their change of roster. I doubt once again change will help them. Very doubt.
2010-03-17 14:01:07
fucking sutpid !!!
2010-03-18 14:25:49

so obvious to just sepect them, instead of trusting some useless anti-cheats.
2010-03-17 09:45:40
