WES Masters Euro Cup #2 announced

A second WES Masters Europ Cup has been announced, again with the financial support from Murat "Arbalet" Zhumashevich. Due to popular demands, the cup has also been expanded from 16 to 32 finalists. 

In total 32 European teams will battle for the first prize of $2,000, $1,000 to second place and $500 to the third place finisher. Due to popular demands, the cup has been expanded from 16 og 32 finalists. This means we will see more of the Balkan and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) teams.

WES' goal is to increase the skill level of tournament participants and creating an interesting product of high quality. They have also announced that all preliminary rounds will be played via their automatic tournament system over at WESGG.com. In addition, the tournament rating for teams and countries will be set up, helping to determine the number of slots for each national qualifier.

As mentioned, the total prize purse for the event will be $3,500 and will be distributed as follows:

The first qualifying rounds will kick off the 6th of April, while the finals are scheduled between 15-16th of May.

Hope one Turkish team will show up but I am not sure about it. If there is still ex TeamQuash, it will be more clear to see the future. But, old times is old.

The prize-pool for WES Masters is provided only because of the courtesy of Arbalet and there is no actual sponsors for this event right now.

Therefore i'd say $3500 is a good money for the tournament with no sponsorship ;P

Post for #25 (davidfy) and #7 (guidson-):

The spots policy subjects to main WES guidlines which mean promoting eSports nationally and worldwide.

This means that some countries were given a separate/additional slot because it is reasonable to promote esports nationally. In other words that means 1 spot for Baltics because teams from LT/EE/LT are good enough to join Open European Qualifiers and get themselves a spot ;P
