craft1k makes return in PinG

Taras "craft1k" Voitenko has reversed his retirement decision after joining forces with PeopleinGame.

The Ukrainian veteran announced he would retire from gaming in late January in the wake of DTS.chatrix's second-place finish in a qualifier for Arbalet Cup Asia.

Despite being contracted to DTS until June, Voitenko has decided to link up with PinG after agreeing with his former team on his release.


craft1k reverses retirement decision

Voitenko, who has played for the likes of Amazing Gaming and KerchNET in the past, will fill the boots of Nikolay "weiss" Poplavskiy, who has been listed by PinG as "inactive".

"This was a team decision... it was not based on bad results, mistakes made by him or bad relationship. We just needed to progress and move forward," Serg "lmbt" Bejanov told PinG's website.

PeopleinGame now stand as:

craft1k strike xaoc are among the strongest players in ukraine (together with edward, zeus, markeloff and starix) ANGE1 is a good player as well so this is a very strong lineup.

No, that was weiss, not craftik. He decided to stay in the US after WCG for some time and retired from gaming. When he came back to Ukraine he started playing cs again.
And that was not the final, that was the 3rd place decider match @ wcg 2007.

Yeah, but NaVi did not attend, right? If they did.. PinG would've been 3rd. Or are you saying that PinG is stronger than NaVi at the moment? I think right now it will look like this in Eastern Europe(sng):

1. NaVi
2. United
3. ForZe
4. PinG

yes, PinG beat forze twice in the last two tournents but judging how forZe plays internationally I think they are a little stronger than PinG ATM. But again if PinG gets blade as an igl instead of lmbt, they will be top3 for sure. The logic behind strike's replacement is that it feels like kucher is hungry for victories whereas strike doesn't have that motivation.. He certainly has the skill. I also thinkthat blade is a better cap than lmbt.

All of the above is my opinion only, so it's completely fine if you disagree.
