compLexity has been crowned champions of the CEVO-Professional XII season after beating Evil Geniuses on two maps.
The Syndicate of compLexity has proved that they are still at the top of the US scene, after crushing Evil Geniuses on two maps. Crushing is also not exaggeration, because they really did.
compLexity started out on de_inferno as CT, where Evil Geniuses had to see themselves defeated by a 15-0 scoreline at half-time. Although Evil Geniuses struck back with taking the next following rounds, compLexity overpowered their opponents and secured a 16-5 win.
Moving onto de_nuke, compLexity once again displayed raw strength and ran over Evil Geniuses like a freight train, only letting them get a hold of three rounds till half-time. compLexity furthermore secured the next four rounds and stated a 16-3 score.
This leaves the final standings:

both are very good teams. coL played very strong and EG played really weak. could go either way next time around.
EG got beaten pretty badly, i don't think they had any revolutionary strats in their pocket to win them an extra 12-13 rounds on each map :/ they just lost.

its not too far off from the old coL. the organization wanted to bring in a new IGL and replace the weakest player on the old lineup. they just happened to both be from team Loaded.

EG didn't look very organised at all, and it was online, lurppis had 75 ping. coL looked good, but until they beat EG on lan with a similar sort of scoreline then they aren't #1.

thomz has actually been one of the better players on coL lately, but they all play well throughout matches. he kind of took up NineSpots role if you were familiar with the old team.

yeah i am familiar with them... i didnt mean to say i dont like him.. i never seen much of him, ive heard his name around, but never paid that much attention, but i dont find him a exciting player like hero or dboorn for example... but i trust ur judgement.. :)

i think that EG fans are more mature than coL fans. anytime EG beats coL, i don't see any flaming of coL. but everytime coL beats EG, it's like the Glenn Beck show on FOX news.

disagree. coL fans (up until this point) generally have had the mentality that their team is second best. they'll root for coL with a passion, and whenever coL would win, it would be treated as an upset and thus a really big deal. the underdog fans are usually more in your face than the reigning champs (i.e. boston red sox fans vs. yankee fans, where the yanks are generally better, but bostonians are freaking crazy).
EG fans kind of have that "sitting on my high horse" mentality where their team is #1 a majority of the time, and is expected to win and be the stronger team. HOWEVER, whenever EG does lose to coL, all the EG fans come out of their holes and make up excuses on whatever they can reach for. that, or theyll completely blame the loss on one player and leave him out to dry. thats the difference.

coL fans = disappointment (i.e. coL misses too many events, not improving at the same speed as EG, not enough dedication)
EG fans = excuses (i.e. ping disadvantage, lurrpis/gfn are bad, its online, theyre saving strats)
