Na´Vi and coL to Arbalet Cup Europe

Arbalet Cup has revealed the final two participants for the Europe event, taking place 14-16 May in Stockholm, Sweden.

The last two teams to complete the field for Arbalet Cup Europe has been found. Natus Vincere will be going to Stockholm after all, after they missed out on one of the three qualification-spots at Arbalet Cup CIS.

North American team compLexity will finalize the list of participating teams, the team will be the second North American team attending the event, as Evil Geniuses will also be on site to compete.

This means that the sixteen-teams field for Arbalet Cup Europe 2010 are as follows:

It will be immense action at Inferno Online in Stockholm, where a $37,000 prize pot is to be distributed based on action over three days.

at wcg 2009, i saw some teams which came to the tournament just to improve the winning record and k/d ratio of other teams...
for eg. makeway from India and there are plenty others.
Here, what i am trying to say is, that there is no team present in this tournament just for the sake of making a good divisible number like 32.
All the teams are well capable of winning the tournament or atleast put up a big fight for it!

cbteam should not get any invite, they do not have a complete lineup. Playzone.fi will be at the Finnish pre-qualifier for WCG Nordic. Playzone.se and Cheap Times! havnt shown anything lately and who is limbo? As a final note, I don't see how you can argue against Na´Vi not suitable for the invite.

They have been playing great all year, fifth place at IEM eu finals, first at Arbalet Cup Asia, fourth Arbalet Cup February, first IEM World Championship, first Arbalet Cup Ukraine, first at Arbalet Cup Best of Four and latest fourth at Arbalet Cup CIS. These are much better results than any of the other attending teams have been producing this year. Sponsored by Arbalet or not, they deserve the invite.

na'vi had their chance to show and to prove all that "they are the best team atm", but they even didn't claim TOP3 in CIS...
but if ,for example, pz or cb had oportunity to take "the slot" for Arbalet EU, they wouldn't throw it away...
and it would be much better NOT to invite na'vi for this event, to show them, that they had chance...they didn't use it. And invite other team, that would thank and give all they have...to prove that they are here not to lose :O And yes, ofc. the results will show whether i'm right, or wrong :)

Money decide that. Arbalet wants - community complies. I think that's wrong and unprofessional too. The whole situation: 1 - not giving na`vi autoslot and making them play cis qualify, 2 - inviting after cis fail.

what are you talking about? navi have smashed basically every top 10 team in the world this year. they definitely failed at the last tourney, but that was probably due to them not taking it seriously enough... not that that's an excuse, but im sure they will be playing leagues above that level when this tourney comes around.

they are a top team now, they've done enough in the past 4 months or so to be considered in the same breath as fnatic, sk, mouz etc. and definitely deserve their invite regardless of their failing at the qualifier.

at the end of the day the invites are their to make sure the best teams possible are competing, they aren't there to give a leg-up to up and coming teams who might put up a good fight.

They won the Arbalet: Best of Four event which pretty much should have given them an autoberth anyway, before the Arbalet Cup CIS started NaVi was already qualified anyway, they were obviously not well prepared and we all know that Russian teams can be extremely imba (UNITED 16-1 fnatic, UNITED 21-9 mTw, not to mention forze etc)
