The KODE5 Latin America organisation has classified the decision to disqualify Made in Brazil from the Last Chance tournament as 'correct'.
The Brazilian team were prevented from playing their Last Chance quarter-final match against Colombian side Hadouken after three of their players arrived late after going to the hotel to pick up their luggage and check out.
mibr stated that the decision to disqualify them had allegedly been made because of pressure from local teams and some Argentines, but the tournament organisation has moved in quickly to justify the ruling.
"It is appropriate to clarify the actions surrounding the decision to disqualify the Brazilian team mibr," a KODE5 statement read. "The data collected shows that the decision was correct. We believe that the comments generated about it are based on ignorance and it is understandable.
"Today it is necessary to further review and speak with those involved to know that we proceeded in a far way, and that the Brazilian representative suffered disqualification under their own responsibility.
"In turn, the organisation rejects pressure and influence in this, and the Colombian officials stayed out of this decision to free themselves from the possibility of a bias in the decisions made.
"At last, the Brazilian team had the help of the local administration for stay, transportation and proper food until the day of their departure."
The KODE5 Latin America tournament was won by Wild Ineters from Argentina, who beat No Limits 2-0 in the final.
gg w.i
It'd by more interesting to see what the main governing body of KODE5 has to say on the matter and not the organization that made the original decision.
"At last, the Brazilian team had the help of the local administration for proper stay, transportation and food until the day of their departure."
this say all! if organisation give transportation for mibr so the fault is by organisation :P stupid words by kode5

'All the teams knew we had to be very satisfied with the schedule for the inconvenience of the previous day and I bear witness that there was no contemplation of my team because we lost a WO 20 minutes late for a game on Saturday at 7am and missing, if we do not know much miRBase pss they also had a basic English so I think that was NO communication problems beyond the delayed over two hours, it is not excuse to let them play as the same organization warned all TL we were very attentive to schedules to avoid delays in most games. "
"Mibr's departure is expected almost two hours, and mibr had two members present, and I think the other equiipo q 3 Brazilian, I imagine that I inform them did not reach q if GG, finally announced the ff, as 20 min or half an hour the mibr came to sit, but nothing could be done, the announcement was official, and was posted on sites such as GotFrag and hltv "
15 colombian minutes to be precise.
Silly me thinking you made that decision thinking "we are so wrong here".
They didn't explain their reasons behind the disqualification, absolutely no mention of all the delays and also no mention of MiBR's alleged traffic problems that made them arrive later.
Also no mention if they did or did not allow the players to leave the venue guaranteeing that they would be able to play their matches on their arrival back.
Disappointing really... anyways, good luck to Wild Ineters on the KODE5 Global Finals, they had some impressive play at this tournament, hoping to see them do some damage internationally :).
if it were another team (not hadouken or another colombian team) the history would have been diferent -__-
i guess this decision was taken without a knowladge off all involved. a foreign team cant be guilty for this simple errors compared with giant organization errors like a 11hrs delay.
imo, when a organization cant comply with they rules, they cant accuse the teams for very little errors (compared with all mistakes allong the competition). maybe they could appropriate this rules for the situation (though it was raining there, and a lot! maybe this hindered that mibr could arrive before the match!)
Seem to me that those hadouken dudes had some strong friendship bounds with the organization lol. Mibr had it's faults though, the staff should handle things such as the checkout and stuff, not the players. And besides the 12hours delay, rules are still rules right?
And btw, that was a crappy justification.
But it wasn't Wild Ineters's fault so, good luck guys!
Also left for amateurs to organize this championship, Colombia would never again gave in a qualifier, was a total disaster, and everyone knew it would be an easy victory of mibr!
*sniff* so beautiful.
if the organization doesn't drop this crappy team, mibr sucks ass!

what bothers me most is that if any other Latin American team would have been exactly the same thing anyone would not mind
forobardo(N)
maybe we'll see them sometime battle (from Romania I prefer TeG), and I'm pretty confident that TeG will win.
This line-up of mibr sucks ass, semipro even in Brasil, not to talk about international skill:)
the only game they lost was on an INTERNET game and they were being DDoSed few times.
last year they lost to 16-14 to mibr and FG after being like 8 rounds in advantage and droped the game by lack of experience
and about TeG? lol :D
playart=mibr
Mibr was late to their match by more than 2 hours, when at least 2 or 3 other teams had already lost their matches (FFL) because they arrived 20 minutes late and the rules say they have 15 minutes to show up.
We know the first day was a mess, and the 2nd day was not perfect either. But after having a terrible 1st day, all teams were told by the organization to PLEASE help them by being ready ON TIME for their matches in order to finish the matches ASAP. Being late for more than 2 hours didn't help at all, and since other teams had already lost their matches for being 20 minutes late, it was unfair that MIBR could play their match after being more than 2 hrs late.
That's the version I heard from people that WERE ACTUALLY THERE.
BTW: The colombian team did want to play them even after the 2 hour wait. The organization discualified mibr because it was unfair for the other teams that had already lost their matches for being late (20 mins late) and they had to GO ON with the event.

very logical :)
aver if they stop fighting arming or who is better for tires already
sorry for my English :/
That's just sad...these kids need to get on with their lives and get a real job
1 - Event generator of this size without
2 - Event of this size to 10 pcs XP and 10 pcs VISTA
3 - Event of this size with cs NON-STEAM
4 - event of this magnitude with 10 hours late one day / 2 hours late on another day
Among other things ridiculous (modified tables at the last minute and everything else)

3- EVENT NON-STEAM?
hltv I was non-steam/steam I saw many players in platform steam people who do not have 10 dollars for an account steam and raised to servants non-steam there and simultaneously I habian servants steam as for me I have steam.
so they stop being complaining
HAHA Colombia event with non-steam oh my god ... still want to get justification for disqualification of mibr ... and so far nothing ..... where is it? already found the reason?

do these topics are insignificant to you?
1 - Event generator of this size without
2 - Event of this size to 10 pcs XP and 10 pcs VISTA
3 - Event of this size with cs NON-STEAM
4 - event of this magnitude with 10 hours late one day / 2 hours late on another day
and please, if you defend, defend the four! not just one topic.
it may be difficult to protect what has no explanation :T
but credits to you.
- - -
and I'm still curious to a coherent answer...
1 - true
2 - like 20 pcs burned out... (Colombian organization fail, Argentina organizers 'LocalStrike' wasnt going to do anything, but with all the failures from Colombian organization, they start to organize the tournament, so they start searching new pcws [because of the 20 burned out])
3 - I am tired of reading this, stupids all you know is read some tard and repite? WE PLAYED THE WHOLE TOURNAMENT ON STEAM, the only thing NONSTEAM was 1 HLTV for the Argentinian people.
4 - true, epic fail from Colombia organizers.
Was the event always going to be over 2 days ? or did the delays cause this
if it was originally planned as a 1 day event, and it flowed over to the next, you cannot blame MIBR for having to checkout. Because if it was run on time, they wouldnt of even needed to play day 2.
haha good job then... you are doing it great! :D
its a joke, the argentineans and colobians were afraid so they did this to mibr
They disqualify because the team mibr has late, in the other hand they give permission to Mibr to go to the hotel and bring there lug.
For me this is a little problem of miscumunication.
P.s: SSRY for the bad UK language
You show up late, you get fired.
Same goes for mibr, no hard feelings.

that's even more clear...

many people will say that this is already past, but I make it so you do not think this is something natural. we do not want to go through that again.
the organization was shit
Organizers shit.

f*ck :d
And decide to make a False justification to disqualify them ^^
That's all..uhm.. and teh argentines were like ''yeaaa, disqualify them.. they broke the rules''? ._. I guess that would explain all.. They know the wouldn't had chance to win vs Mibr :]
So Pitiful..
Nt to NoLimits anyway :)
killing that man was the right thing to do. i gave that man a proper burial and donated some money to the family of the deceased.

IF mibr failed to show up, at the scheduled time, it is more than correct to disqualify them.
Also, L2P brazil
I just read the explanation. Holy crap, HADOUKEN players, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. You don't have half of the skill that mibr's players have, you suck, ridiculous noobs.
@ sebaxinho, thanks for being at least imparcial, showing the ethic and charachter of you and your team, which didn't take part in the press against mibr.
Ok a resume of mibr's link :
You guys all know already about the 10 hour late event, so I won't mention that(again) ;)
The K5 Organization gave MiBR 1.30 hour (90 minutes) to do the checkout at the hotel; about 1 hour later HADOUKEN team started pressing sr Ramiro something to give them the W.O victory(lame, isn't?). So mch(mibr player) managed to grab a card from their hotel from mandrak(GOLDEN GLORY player), called them and had this answer: The 3 remaining players had left the hotel for 20 minutes at the time. After that, mch and Maluk3 thought the pressioning would stop..but guess what? It grew even more, an argentinian staff and all of Hadouken's players started yelling and pressing like little sissies to Ramiro (main staff? or whatever) and then he gave the W.O victory to Hadouken.
Lame? Obviously.
GG MiBR.
Good luck Wild Ineters.. play with heart and represent Latin America better than the Colombians, please! Like Carlitos Tevez! Good luck!
To HADOUKEN's players and Colombian K5 staff: grow up.
Sure, mibr should be entitled to a place in the final world ...
