ex-exotic b1nd killed in car crash
Former exotic member Mike "b1nd" Martins has died after a car crash in Caminha on Saturday morning.
Martins, 21, and three friends, aged from 20 to 40, died when the Porsche 911 in which they were travelling left the EN-13 road near Caminha and hit a tree at 00.50 (local time).
According to news daily Correio da Manha, the driver of the car, which was split in two with the impact, broke the speed limit.
Fire crews worked until 5 am to release the four bodies from the wreckage of the car and clean the road.
Martins, a former member of Lanbar, was called up to represent Portugal on some occasions and had his breakthrough when he joined exotic in 2009 together with the likes of Joaquim "axoN" Pinto and Tiago "weapoN" Pacheco.

Unfortunately. I'm not expert in car crash, but a while ago Charles Lewis died in a Ferrari who exactly looked like this Porsche after it crashed. He was going at 200+km/h. It's not hard to imagine such car going at that speed if you ever drove or rode one. A bit of oversteering is enough to make it flip and crash against a tree... add up incredible high speeds (invited by a road clear of traffic) and you have a totally wrecked car.

Those who have no regard for human life and decency should be without a lot more than access to HLTV.org, but may he and his friends rest in peace. Was a tragedy and I think this guy should have a full-length frag movie made after him if at all possible if any of his friends or someone have demos of him from other events, leagues or tournaments. :)

That being said, the driver was driving too fast thus endangering his own life, as well as the lives of other passangers and other drivers on the road. That is simply irresponsible and we can see what the outcome of it is. Quite frankly, I hate people that cannot abide by traffic laws because it is exactly this kind of shit that results - a completely unnecessary loss of young human life.
Yes, we do know what happened but I am willing to bet that if they had driven within the speed limit they would not have crashed or would at least be alive right now.

Wow, I'm actually in disbelief. This is heartbreaking for me, especially because a friend of mine who played CS with me and got me into online games also died in a motorbike crash last summer. I heard b1nd was a good guy and definetely a very good player.

Tbh the state of the roads are ridiculous which doesn't help at all, but ofc the drivers don't help too. In this case there are reports/rumors that the driver had had some drinks, and didn't stop at a police patrol and was over the speed limit.

now that you say without alchool its easy but when you are "happy" with all the beers you think different, like you think " in the next written test i will study a lot" but when the test is arriving you get lazy :/

However, most of the time you know that you have to drive afterwards, therefore you can prevent any stupid action by just not drinking any alcohol. Since I'm quite a disciplined person this should not be a problem for me; but it might be / is for others, sadly :/

for what i read: a friend of them, with signals of alchool showed in the bar that mike and friends were, and he told them to go to a party in the disco. At first, they were hesitating and didnt want to go because of all the beer they drinked, but in the end, they just go, sad option RIP Bind]2s
