The Elder Gods have announced the addition of Sedan "SeDaN" Ibrahim from Earthquake.
Ibrahim, widely considered to be one of Romania's best players, will provide a major lift to TeG ahead of the ESWC world finals next week.
The former neXtplease and Earthquake talent will fill the shoes of Marius "MaRiuS" Ionita, who has been given his marching orders due to his lack of drive to continue playing at a high level.
"Marius was not serious enough and he could not practice as much as we had planned, because of this we wanted a new player on board, and SeDaN was the best option out there for us," Mircea "PeRRy" Predut told HLTV.org.
The arrival of Ibrahim at TeG means the Romanian side now have the exact same line-up they had three years ago, with Predut hoping it will improve their chances in Paris.
"We plan to make it out of the groups, that is our main objective. After that, it depends on which team we get in the playoffs," he added.
The Elder Gods will attend the ESWC finals with:

TeG is a very good team. If they practice hard, they will reach top8 at ESWC.

Well marius was indeed the best in teg, but his lack of motivation is I think due to upcoming exams, and frankly it's wise to put your future life (high grades at exames)on first place than a game.
Anyway SeDaN is as good or even better than Marius, it remains to see how the chemestry in the team is. Last time TEG did a good Group Stage, at WCG if I'm not mistaken, and if they were not to be drawn in the elimination stages with fnatic with gux, gtr, forest, dsn and carn at that time, they could have done better, and probably qualify for the quarter finals

TeG is one of THE oldschool teams, nice to see them get a decent lineup. Used to watch their matches a lot back in like 2002 or so.

It's not about how much better SeDaN is compared to Marius, or vice-versa, it's about how fast Sedan will integrate into the team. We all know chemistry is the key to a successful team.

on paper it looks like this is the best lineup from romania but i think marius was for them like gtr & f0rest for fnatic and also sedan played for teg before and he left the team because he had bad comunication with perry and why he returned now? You think wrong...since i know Eq doesn't exist anymore, not sure. This intel is provided by a singel source not more. So Sedan doesn't have anymore a team in his town so...he's got to move to Bucharest to train with Teg, i belive.
+Tao is a good friend of darky and perry oldplayers, they play toghether for 5 years i belive..

he was in TeG before if i'm not mistaken, if they could've kept Marius and dropped k1dor with the Sedan pickup, they would be a contender..but sedan will definitely turn heads with his awp at ESWC..

Marius was a good player, but he didn't play as good as he played at the begining and he has no time for training. So it's a good change and SeDaN is on fire when he has awp...good luck TeG at ESWC make us proud

1.SeDaN owned ESWC 2003. Kapio used to call him King SeDaN so he must be worth something ;)
2.TeG is all about oldschool and I respect that a lot, they have played against the likes of HeatoN and Potti (but lost misarbly if i recall 13-0 13-1)

uhm u are wrong, just because they are not playing verry often in international tournaments dosent mean they are not "there". perry = unreplaceble because he is the ingame leader
marius = sedan -> there is almost no diference betewen them
k1dor > taofik > darky
theyr problem is that they are oldschool and they play pasive, they need to play more agresive and fearless.
