Samsung European Championship announces their return, as the 2010 edition has been revealed.
Due to the financial crisis in 2009, the annual Samsung European Championship did not take place. The latest edition of the tournament took place at CeBIT in 2008, where the Swedes from fnatic won €12,500 by defeating Polish team MYM in the Grand Final.
Samsung European Championship is now officially back, as the 2010 edition has been announced to take place September 3-5 at International Congress Center (ICC) of IFA Exhibition in Berlin, Germany. Not much more information has been released, other than the best teams from all over Europe will be invited.

2008 winners fnatic
The tournament will once again feature Counter-Strike 1.6 and six game titles in total. The total prize purse for the tournament is set at $70,000 in cash, with no details given about how much will be handed out in Counter-Strike 1.6.
