GuX set to rejoin fnatic

SK Gaming have announced that star player Rasmus "GuX" Stahl is poised for a return to fnatic.
The Swedish ace has been on the books of SK since February, when he joined the team as a substitute for Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström.
Stahl is now all set to return to fnatic, whom he left in January after growing apart from the rest of the team, just days after inspiring SK to a second-place finish at the ESWC finals.
He will step into the shoes of Björn "threat" Pers, who was released from fnatic on Sunday following the team's disappointing campaign in Paris.
GuX a fnatic king once again
After airing his wish to return to his former home, Stahl agreed with SK that he would only discuss his future after Arbalet Cup Dallas, but according to the German-based organisation, fnatic tempted Stahl to decline attending one last event for his team.
"Sam Mathews and fnatic seem to be so desperate that they pushed the whole thing further and the result makes no side a winner here to be honest," SK Gaming chief Alexander "TheSlaSH" Mueller told the team's website.
"The relationship SK Gaming and Fnatic had in the past is overshadowed if not destroyed by this move. Fnatic offered Rasmus money to not play Arbalet with SK Gaming, an event Fnatic is not playing even."
Mueller noted that the move puts in question the foundations of the G7 federation, of which both SK and fnatic are members.
"SK and Fnatic can't be in an organization like the G7 Teams after such a move that is beyond anything I have ever experienced in 11 years of eSport history," he signalled.

the second fnatic changes up their game a little and study Na'Vi, Na'Vi is gonna have a hard time against a hungry fnatic with an extra player in GuX.
THREAT was good but he didn't step it up in-game when he had to. there was alot of rounds where you could see he could have gotten an extra kill but he didn't and that, changed everything for fnatic.
Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that Na'Vi is giving fnatic an even harder run for their money. But I also think that Na'Vi is very overated.
If fnatic puts the time in and are hungry, I don't see Na'Vi taking it away from them.

the only reason why coL got 14 rounds is that it was no point match for both teams, due to there were only 2 teams in group and rules said that second group stage will be done RANDOMLY, so it was no difference if u finish SECOND or FIRST in group stage, so please... think twice before u write something like that, gl

What fnatic has done here is very unethical, maybe illegal, and probably ruined many relationships between Swedish players. The reason for this move being unethical is because they are purposefully sabotaging SK’s chances of winning the cup in Dallas by forcing SK to play with a stand in. Even though fnatic will pay SK for the contract it does not give them the right to do something like this, especially before the trade has even occurred. If I was SK, I would attempt to delay and mess with the contract proceedings due to this. I wonder how this will affect certain international tournaments, where they play as a country and not as individual teams since both teams will probably hate each other. I mean this situation would be similar to have Lebron James sit out of this past year’s playoff games since he was going to the Heat.

The taking of Gux is fine, it is paying him not to compete before his contract is even handed over to fnatic that is wrong. Obviously trades and contract buyouts are part of the professional cs circuit, but sabotaging a team when they are about to go to a competition is another thing.

You are correct on your first statement, it's dirty business that fnatic is doing. GuX's personal reasons for going to dallas are not important. What's important is the team that he basically turned his back on by agreeing to leave this early for a team that isn't even competing in Arbalet. SK has just been handicapped by fnatic's business practices.

You are retarded. SK has never paid off a player on another to attend a world class competition 2 days before the event, which that player and his team had prepared for and expenses paid for. Fnatic basically intentionally sabotaged Sk’s chances at winning the Arblalet cup by paying off Gux to not attend the event ruining SK’s teamwork, strats, and travel plans all before Gux is on fnatic. People seem to have trouble realizing Ggux is technically still on the SK roster until contract stuff is settled. If you guys accept what has happened here you probably think that if would be ok if France paid off Thomas Müller not to play so that Germany would lose if France didn’t qualify.
