SK pick moddii for WCG Nordic

SK Gaming have registered Andreas "moddii" Fridh for the upcoming WCG Nordic finals.

The Swedish giants have been on the lookout for a new permanent fifth since losing Rasmus "GuX" Stahl to fnatic earlier in the month.

Fridh, who is a free agent following the disbandment of Meet Your Makers' Counter-Strike team, has been registered by SK Gaming for the WCG Nordic finals, which will be played from 5-8 August in Helsinki, Finland.

This will be the second event for Fridh with the colours of SK after playing for the team at Arbalet Cup Dallas, where they finished 5th-6th.


Fridh to continue with SK

SK can still make changes to their line-up for the WCG Nordic finals, but with the event only two weeks away, and with SK having also to play the Extreme Masters Global Challenge Shanghai before travelling to Helsinki, it looks unlikely they will look elsewhere.

moddii is moore a player with those mad frags in the movies, he still need to put a lot of work in to team work.. TBH i was surprised by his performance in Dallas, he was great.. Hope from SK best performance, for the 1st place guys!

He's a good addition as long as SK can keep his temper down for the most of the time.

But I still don't think the current SK (with the assumption moddii joins), can do damage to fnatic or Na`Vi.

They need another change, a sniper is missing. walle hasn't been what he was used to be, but he's great for the chemistry of the team.

Well since Robban, walle and allen is really good friends i dont think they will continue playing for SK if one of them get kicked. The samething as F0rest,cArn and dsn in fnatic.

* I think thats what happens to your style if you play to much like + 6 hours a day, some greatest players i know have played since year 2002, but they never play more than 2 h a day at max, but they play more fresh and intelligent, this is a pattern I see often.

I am not the one who will go for 5 madfraggers either man....its just that if you can do the routine AND can frag good simultaneously, you are much more valuable than a guy who can only do routine and dies quickly making it a 4v5 every round :)

MODDII has the potential to be THE BEST if he gets good exp and teams use him in the right way. Right now he is not very good with peeks and clutches.

All said and done..this SK lineup can't consistently win against top 3: Navi, mtw and fnatic. If I were to go for a new team...I would do

- walle and robban (they won't play alone anyway)
+ delpan and zyppe

this without disturbing h2k lineup...otherwise xizt would be a great choice!

Moddii skill has never been questioned, he is #1 aimer, but his "unique" chemistry is what has given team headaches from time to time, (or team to team i should say, lol)

I know walle didn't perform like the walle we know in the last tournaments but everyone has bad days so not giving him a chance isn't the best decision. I would say that WCG Nordic can decide whether walle can still deliver and help the team. Otherwise I would choose Delpan in his place.
