defs with a new CS team

The Portuguese organization earlier today announced the departure of their Counter-Strike team, but they already have a replacement ready.
The departure of the team was a surprise to the Portuguese scene but mainly for the organization. The team claimed that it was their choice to leave the organization and go their separate ways.
The former defining stars team consisted of:
Vasko "vsk" Santos
A few hours after the departure of the old team, the Portuguese organization already chose a new five man roster to represent them in their future:
Thomas "mecca" Moniz
Consisting of three former K1CK players and two of the most respected players in Portugal, the roster has never played an official match together.
With this lineup we see Silva and Alferes coming back from the retirement, Meira joining after his debut with K1CK at the ESWC 2010 Grand Finals, and Moniz taking another step up in his career.
this time they have a chanse....GL for all five

mecca one of the best aimers in portugal,weapon and k1ck not much to say about them,they were among the elite pt scene for a long time,caliban sick aimer also,and gax proved his talent many times : )

i cant remember which tournament it was,but it was vs pM @nuke and mecca was like a ringer for some random team and he was owning them with ak 47,really carrying the team and ending up tying the game against them

Are they better than Phantoms or Paranoids? I know QUICK back when he was on k1ck, he was good. weapoN is solid awper and gax showed some nice moments where he filled fox's place. Only player i dont know is Caliban but mecca is a piece of crap, no offense. Ive seen him playing 1 time and god hes bad, cant understand portuguese people saying is one of the top aimers in pt like what the hell..

2nd best? lol paranoids phantoms? 2nd best team is exotic the only team that can take maps from k1ck and they took 2nd place at ept doing a lot of mistakes (it's summer time, they are a new team i bet that tey didn't pracc that much latelly) losing stupid rounds... when this team reaches some team chemestry it will be more intense bitwin k1ck and them... so i can't see defs as a top2 team even as a top3 lol lazy players with 3 awps in the same team... if paranoids add rmn the top3 is sealed ... pM only will be on their top game after the summer is over... so probably if the team dont do some changes in the future i don't see them lasting much time X).

oh in my point of view is already to old and a lot of "wars" bitwin exotic and k1ck probably cut the realtions bitwin him and coachi and bessides that me as "player" and as a "spectator" in my opinion he woudln't feet in k1cks play style hes a very defensive player like a backup and nn/silent runer clutcher k1ck game is to agressive for is characteristics in my opinion..

QUICK was easily one of the smartest players in the old coachi's defs team and a good aimer too. mecca isn't crap, at least I don't think so. He's a bit inconsistent yes, but overall a good aimer and very versatile in game.
This lineup is promising but they'll have to train hard and get up to the pace of top teams otherwise they'll be irrelevant.

this team will is probable to break up in 1-2 months cuz thats when QUICK will be at his top performance again and muttt will be kicked out of the team. You guys already herad from coachi's words that muttt hasn't adapted well to the team and that QUICK was an awesome player and a player that coachi would never kick out of the team.
