Online-Kingdom have announced the acquisition of the former Lions team which recently split from their organization.
The Portuguese-based organization made headlines on Wednesday when they picked up the former Paranoids squad, which is also a lineup of Portuguese players. At the same time, Online-Kingdom posted through their Twitter that they would enroll an international team the following days.
Just a day before, the Norwegian team of Lions had decided to end cooperation with their organization due to several disagreements over a longer period of time, adding former NiP member Øyvind "KF3" Magnestad as their fifth, permanent member in the process.
Earlier today a short-lived rumor was started, claiming that 4Kings would pick up the old cbteam squad. Among the listed players were Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard and Karl-William "kalle" Haraldsen. This rumor was however shortly after killed as 4Kings officials told HLTV.org that the information was untrue.
Online-Kingdom have now announced their international team - the former lineup of Lions. This will be the second Norwegian team the organization has housed the past two months.
"We are proud to be presented as Online-Kingdom's international CS team. After a talk with OK we understood that we had the same goal and vision which made it all very easy for us. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a great, long-term cooperation. You will see us in action at SEC 3rd to 5th September in Berlin", Øyvind "KF3" Magnestad said.
Online-Kingdom now boast the following five:
Thomas "Vertigo" Andresen
Øyvind "KF3" Magnestad
Martin "hellzerk" Solbakken
Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard
Karl-William "kalle" Haraldsen
The team is set to make an appearance at the Samsung European Championship 2010 in Berlin as they managed a second-place finish in the preliminaries, as well as The Convention in Norway by the start of October.
