Begrip cancel ASUS Summer plans

Faruk "pita" Pita has confirmed to HLTV.org that they will not attend ASUS Summer this weekend. This come about as Swedish Housemafia never sealed the deal with Begrip Gaming and will now be without an organization.

The Swedish team, built last week around former Meet Your Makers star Faruk "pita" Pita, had been drawn in Group D and were due to take on Natus Vincere, fullhouse and Moralezz. 

However, Begrip have announced they will not be attending the event, which kicks off Saturday, after some last-minute issues arose.

"There were some banking problems that got in the way of our trip to ASUS Summer," Pita told HLTV.org.

"Also Zyppe's passport was on the other side of Sweden, couldn't get it passport in time, because our flight was set to leave 13.00 tomorrow and he wouldn't make it in time."

Despite being announced by Begrip Gaming as their squad for ASUS Summer and EPS Nordic, Pita has confessed that his team will not be joining the organisation and are still looking for a home.

"We spoke to Begrip, and we said we would reconsider our cooperation, and that we will go official as a team without an organisation," Pita added.

This leaves Group D at ASUS Summer one-team short. So far, there has been no info as to whether a replacement will be found or the group will remain with three teams.

The team is now known as Swedish Housemafia, and house the following players:

Faruk "pita" Pita
Jonathan "lidde" Lidgren
Danny "pop" Oldenburg
Markus "pronax" Wallsten
Samuel "Zyppe" Martinsson

Marcus "zet" Sundström (EPS backup)

The team is now on a lookout for a new home and can be contacted by following email address - shm.contact@gmail.com.

The team is furthermore only participating in the upcoming season of the Nordic ESL Pro Series, meaning now big tournaments are planned at the moment.

Dont think they will want to join H2k. If they didnt want to join begrip who have more money then h2k why would they want to join H2k?

hopefully some other good orga pick this team.

probably true then :) But i still dont think that they will join H2k.

Why would any team join H2k? I dont know any player that have been happy when he was playing for H2k organization.

...Once again proving that Begrip is one of the worst organizations around.I really don't know why and how they have managed to stick around for so long.

Just look at the '05 Begrip (IsKall, f0rest, RobbaN, Tentpole, and Calippo). They were the best team in the world and proved that at WEG2 were they destroyed everyone, but for the rest of the year Begrip were only able to send them to one more tournament (CPL Winter 2005, where they placed 6th).

Begrip is like the official graveyard of Swedish Counter-Strike. You can't expect them to send you to tournaments regularly, or even at all, and the players that are on that team just use it as a vehicle for exposure in hopes of moving on to a better, and more financially stable team.
