Serbian side neWave.PlayMore have qualified for this year edition of the World Cyber Games Grand Finals following their victory over urbanExperience in the nation's qualifier.
The qualifier, which attracted an amazing number of 64 teams, commenced yesterday in the country's capital, Belgrade, at the Belexpocenter. The number of teams quickly went down, and last standing were neWave.PlayMore and urbanExperience.
neWave.PlayMore had earned their grand final slot after seeing off BGD Online in a 2-1 manner, whereas urbanExperience were able to overcome IDZUO with a 2-0 scoreline.
Starting out on de_train, neWave.PlayMore immediately started out by restraining urbanExperience and had no problem in doing so for the rest of the match, ultimately seeing neWave.PlayMore posting a 16-2 win on the map. The following map, de_nuke, was to no stress for neWave.PlayMore either, as the Serbians easily finished it off with a 16-6 scoreline.
