eXelon acquire Infernal Gamers

eXelon Gaming have bolstered their Counter-Strike divison with a new team, the squad formerly known as Infernal Gamers.

Infernal Gamers, who recently announced the additions of Toni "TONIo" Ohisalo and former munkka member Juuso "fonex" Malvela, have been announced into the ranks of eXelon as their newest Counter-Strike team.

This will be the second team to have donned eXelon's colors within the span of four months, as the organization in May housed a team with the likes of Joona "natu" Leppänen and Slaava "Twista" Räsänen.

Nonetheless, the squadron will have its first debut under their new tag at the Insomnia XII event which will be staged 28-31 October.

"After fuzzy times spent in iG we are more than happy to join eXelon Gaming, which we know is a great organization. We hope our co-operation will be flawless in the future. We would like to thank eXelon’s sponsors and of course eXelon itself for giving us a chance", Joel "jonkkis" Aaltonen told the team's homepage.

The team is furthermore set to compete in the Nordic EAS and the Finnish qualifiers for the Intel Extreme Masters.

since 4 years there is max 2 serious teams in Finland, plastE&Co + Soltec/Playzone, nothing changed imo :P

well at least 4 years ago there were other clans, maybe not many those could compete internationally like soltec and plastE+co but at least there were serious clans (clans don't need to be good to be serious). Nowadays there are 3-4 serious clans overall in Finland, so the scene is pretty much dead. But at least PoweR and PZ.fi are eligible in playing outside Finland, so there still is some hope.
