The Electronic Sports League has formally announced the Last Chance cup for IEM Europe.
The tournament will be played on Sunday, September 12, with 32 teams from across the continent playing a single-elimination, best-of-one, competition.
The winner of the Last Chance cup will receive a place in the first European qualifying round, which will start on Monday.
Registration is open to any team, as long as all of its players have a Premium account on the ESL website.
To apply for the tournament, which will start at 15.00 CET, teams have to send an email to masters.application@esl.eu with the subject "Last Chance Cup" and the following information included:

Application will be closed on Wednesday at 21.00 CET, with the teams having one day to fullfil Premium requirements. The tournament bracket will be announced on Sunday.
