USSR shut down CS team

USSR have announced that they have decided to close down their Counter-Strike department.

The Russian team was seen at ASUS Summer two weeks ago in Ukraine, sending back home in the second group stage after finishing behind Lions and Arena.

A press release issued by USSR manager Anton "Cyclone" Lapshenkov states that three of their players - Artem "Fierce" Ivanov, Anton "mash" Petrov and Alan "Fly" Temirov - have teamed up with Iron Will after being invited by Alexey "LeX" Kolesnikov.

It is still unknown who the other two players at Iron Will, who were originally a mix team, will be, but with the likes of Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov and Boris "Snoop" Podvalshikov on the market, there is plenty of quality out there at their disposal.

USSR had the following team:

 Anton "mash" Petrov
 Artem "Fierce" Ivanov
 Alan "Fly" Temirov
Sergey "hally" Shawano
Nicholas "mNR" Kirpichev

Well, it was not exactly a pug to begin with, they played with a same line-up for a half a year or something.

Good line-up

but just my opinion, a real perfect Russian line-up must have ROMJkE. He may not be the best Russian player, but he's definitely the most versatile player in the world. He can perform any task given to him decently.

He's back for a quite some time already, it's just that his main occupation nowadays is organazing tournaments for Arbalet, not gaming.
But he plays on a local tournaments alright.

Generally more teams just seem to shut down more than teams actually rising up. I mean I've seen more and more organizations releasing counter strike teams this year than I have for a long time.

At least CPL should make a comeback soon.
