Video: fRoD about the victory
After the Grand Final at the MSI BEAT IT finals between Evil Geniuses and fnatic, we found time to sit down with Danny "fRoD" Montaner to talk about the victory over fnatic and the first big event win in a very long time.
The Americans defeated fnatic 2-1 to win the MSI BEAT IT finals, which according to Montaner came about as they adjusted and changed a lot in order to cope with the different plays fnatic went for. Montaner comments on a series of question about the victory in Beijing, but also the upcoming WCG qualifier, where they will be forced to use Travis "tuBBy" Bechtol instead of Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen.

no I played cs because of team complexity.. i watched all there games back in the day and have follow fRoD and storm ever since.. I would be EG fanclub.. but I can't be bothered making 1 and fnatic been my 2nd best team I just joined there bandwagon:) So yes Since coL coming trumps at cpl2004 I have followed them to this day! here just for evidence before final match :)

fact is he has been worse @ 1.6 since he started playing source. like every other pro that has changed from 1.6 to source and then back again to 1.6

Everyone knows that the proplayers who have played source (fRoD, method, zet etc etc) has turned out to be worse @ cs1.6 after their sourcecareer than what they were before they touched source.
And the proplayers who never played source and stayed at 1.6 never had such decrease in skill.
maybe fRoD and storm are back again but they sure have suffered from the sourcedecease for a long time.
