Portuguese side k1ck have added João "ehz" Monteiro to suffice for the loss of Christopher "mUttt" Fernandes.
k1ck eSports Club was last night struck with the departure of their young talent Christopher "mUttt" Fernandes, a deliberate move as Fernandes wished to link up with his old friends in BUSSIFUORI.
It did however not take long before k1ck went from being a four-man roster to a fully completed squad, now that the organization has introduced João "ehz" Monteiro anew. The Portuguese player was once spotted playing for k1ck in early 2008.
Prior to signing up with k1ck, Monteiro was seen donning the colors of Paranoids, formerly known as exotic island.
"I'm happy for having this opportunity, as it came at a time that I could not refuse and it was now or never. I hope to be of assistance to the team and help in achieving both our national and international goals", Monteiro told k1ck.com.
Regarding the joining of Monteiro, Helder "coachi" Sancho told HLTV.org that this move has been a long-time dream, adding that they now have the best Portuguese lineup possible.
"ehz is a long time dream that we had. He is for sure one of the best portuguese players ever, and now we finally have the best portuguese lineup possible. With ehz onboard we hope to keep climbing to the top, and reach big results in the future!"
k1ck, who now have a complete squad for the Upper Final of the Portuguese IEM5 qualifier, currently boast:

You don't know anything about what happened so why are you making it up? spekz didn't reject us, we simply wanted ehz instead, he was the first choice all long, but spekz was indeed the one in line after him in case ehz said no. And we actually asked spekz if he was up for it, and he said yes. So please don't make stuff up :D. But you are right about one thing spekz won't switch from OK to paranoids, almost 100% sure. And K1ck really have the best lineup possible right now, because they already had the best fraggers in axon,shouw and fox and now they have a player who improves any team's communication and teamplay. And on top of that he has a lot of experience and skill so it's really the best lineup possible for K1ck. GL ehz.
