OnTheEdge have successfully claimed top spot in the Romanian IEM5 qualifier, following their 2-0 victory over ZORN.

ZORN had no big problems making it to the final, except surpassing Unleashed From Hell in the third round, where the first match was taken in for overtime. However, the Romanians came out victorious, and steamrolled their contenders on the second map. 

The semifinal proved to be somewhat harder, as the face-off between them and MomentuM* lasted for three maps, but ZORN once again came out on the brighter side.

Their contenders, OnTheEdge, had a more troublesome start, as their first match lasted for three maps, while the second match-up was characterized as a tight fight. The semifinal against biO saw OnTheEdge claim two maps at 16-9 and 16-10.

As the final between ZORN and OnTheEdge commenced on de_tuscan, the latter came out the brightest by sealing the first map at 16-7. However, the following map, de_inferno, would see a turn of events as ZORN posted the opposite score from their previous map, 16-7.

The third and final map, de_nuke, would prove to be no real test for OnTheEdge who easily overcame their contenders with a 16-4 scoreline.

With the team's stints at the Romanian qualifier, they have both gained access to the IEM5 European Championship's first qualifying round (QR1).
