Power Gaming have announced that Max "ruuit" Aspe has decided to step down as player to become inactive.
The Finnish team were recently in attendance at the Samsung European Championship in Berlin, where they placed third after a 2-0 defeat to eventual winners SK Gaming in the semi finals.
Aspe has stood down as a Power Gaming player as he will soon become a father and will require some time to take care of personal matters.
"Although the reason is a very happy one - as his first child is going to be born this fall - we are obviously sad that one of the core members of our team is not going to be joining us on our adventures for a while atleast," Power Gaming captain Joona "natu" Leppanen told the team's website.
Meanwhile, Power Gaming have announced Aspe's replacement in the form of ex-Playzone member Kimmo "BASiC" Fagerholm, who recently competed in the IEM Last Chance with Finnish mix croveNt.
"BASiC is a young talented player, who has been around in the scene for many years now. This is his first opportunity to play with the most internationally experienced players in Finland. We strongly believe that he will be a great asset to the team and that his hunger and strive will feed more energy into our lineup," Leppanen added.
Fagerholm will have his debut for Power Gaming tonight, against OnTheEdge, in the IEM European Qualifying Round 1.
Power Gaming now have:
Niko "naSu" Kovanen
Tino "tihOp" Puumala
Samu "plastE" Alto
Joona "natu" Leppanen
Kimmo "BASiC" Fagerholm

And also good luck to Basic, he is the only player who can eventually fulfill the hole ruuit left to power gaming.
Power Gaming will be very strong with BASiC , he's probably what they need atm , a strong young player.
GL! :)
Especially if it's a girl.

GL and congratulations in advance!
Welcome baby ruuit!! (in advance)
and BASiC is a great choice..the best decision they could have made in these circumstances.
wish PG had the lineup:
ruuit
naSu
plastE
tihOp
contE
would probably be the best finnish lineup possible, hopefully contE will come back into the team early next year, and maybe ruuit later too :D

I would only deem contE a better option but he is still in the army right?
anyway ruiit was my fav player but he wasn't reaching his old level so maybe its better that he calls it quits :]
