Unquestionably the team of 2010, Natus Vincere have broken fnatic's winnings record from 2009, winning a total of $221,550.
The last big tournament of 2010 ended this past weekend, when Natus Vincere won the Grand Final at DreamHack Winter against mTw. With the victory the Ukrainian squad surpassed the $200,000 mark and broke the record set by fnatic in 2009, where the Swedes scored a total of $189,000.
Below is the list of events attended, where Na´Vi managed to win money, a total breakdown displaying how much money the Ukrainians won during the months of 2010.

Na´Vi also secured $2,500 by winning their five group stage matches in the European Championship for IEM5, as well as $750 to qualifuying to the finals. Three Na´Vi members also earned money outside of Na´Vi, such as representing the Ukrainian ENC squad and all-star teams during Arbalet Cup Asia.
Below is a breakdown of how much the individual members in Na´Vi won during 2010.
| Winnings with Na´Vi |
Other winnings | Total | |
Arseny "esenin" Trynozhenko |
$45,000 | $0 | $45,000 |
Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko |
$45,000 | $0 | $45,000 |

$45,000 | $1,289 | $46,289 |
Yegor "markeloff" Markelov |
$45,000 | $989 | $45,989 |
Aleksandr "ZeroGravity" Kohanovskiy has informed HLTV.org that the team still has unpaid prize money from IEM4 EU Finals, IEM4 World Championship, IEM5 GC Shanghai, WEM, WCG and GamGune as well as the recent victory at DreamHack Winter. HLTV.org also know that the Ukrainians will have to pay taxes of some of their winnings, as some event organizers are inforced to do so by the law which applies in the country the company is registred.

The biggest cheque of 2010, still unpaid
Regardless of unpaid prizes and having to pay taxes of their winnings, the Ukrainians have set a new record in terms of winnings as a Counter-Strike team. With Murat "Arbalet" Zhumashevich not hosting more tournaments, it seems doubtful that any team could break this record in 2011.
MRPotY
Oh yeah, just remembered you guys don't have taxes to pay on that. We have like 40-45% cut from this to social taxes (the thing Obama wants to set up).

46,249/12 = 3840$. So his income ( not including his salary) is lower than Swedish average (yours). Also don't forget the unpaid prizes.
There is an progressive income tax, when rich people pay up to 60% of their income. There not so many poor people compared even to other european countries.
Average salary is calculated in every sector (construction, transport, health, manufacturing, etc).
sooo.......

g
The people he was talking about in Sweden earning ~4000 dollars a month is not doing what they love for living. Na`Vi on the other hand is doing what they love to do, for loving.
Get it?
2011 FX POWAH !!!!
Dude, they came up in [2006], they were like mtw when they were winning everything in 2008 or fnatic in 2009.

How will things like these encourage more teams to play professionally and work hard like Na`Vi did.

- Arbalet cup wasnt included last year
= Fnatic actually did better in 2009
especially considering they are Ukrainians... I remember markeloff explaining after their IEM4 victory that $50,000 were like a year salary for a surgeon in Ukraine, or something like that.
Think they will be successful in 2011 year.
GL in future,LOVE jA (L)
the skill level they show as team and individual players is incredible to say the least. never seen so much skill and teamwork since the best matches of 2008 mTw
moneymaker$ :))
GG NAVI
2006 - NiP?
2007 - Pentagram G-Shock/MYM.PGS/now Frag eXecutors
2008 - NoA/mTw.AMD
2009 - fnatic
2010 - Na`Vi
2007 - fnatic totally best results. FX did get the team of the year award based on the first half of the year
navi have won a lot of tournaments... Good bye old sk and fnatic... Hello navi :)
If you're able to follow me.
As for Fnatic i think they just should practise more and come up with better stats.
SK´s only chance is to replace allen&walle. RobbaN is the IGL and he frags more than allen or walle. Delpan is a must at this point.
Ofcourse that´s just my opinion ;-)
Post edited 2010-12-01 23:32:06
and yeah Fnatics playstyle i think has become too known fron '09 and as SK goes they need some change for sure.
cs navi - $$$$
hm, my next startup will be called navi.
* bonus for a win: $ 200
* bonus for Qualify to lan-Finals: $ 750
Na`Vi > k1ck +$ 200
Na`Vi > PwR +$ 200
Na`Vi > n!faculty +$ 200
Na`Vi > no +$ 200

44k / player in one year + their salaries ...
WTF!!!
f0rest and GuX just are always at the end of scoreboard and loosing all important and easy duels and their skills are not even close to rest of fnatic guys. they need to be removed that fnatic can shine again..
walle and allen are best swedish players after carn, dsn and gtr, so they are best options for fnatic.. cant say this more clearly..
Post edited 2010-11-30 19:58:41
I think best swedish player is Get_right (AFAIK he has the best K/D ratio of all pro players?), and other top ones are Xizt, moddii, face, RobbaN, f0rest, Gux and manne and not allen and walle!
to shine again? you mean like in 2009?? mmm if im not mistaken f0rest and gux were on the team that year and walle-allen were on sk losing againts mid-level teams (pugs actually)
WTF walle and allen instead of f0rest and Gux??
Back to real life men
f0rest:Gux>>>>>>>walle:allen
hey, I don't now what matches you are seeing from fnatic, but f0rest is on the top level of fnatic with GeT_RiGhT and Gux is on the middle like cArn...

As you can see, it is not "my" problem.
Nice comments dude ;D
ps; Nice amazing prizes Na'vi respect from Poland ; ))
2006 Fnatic/NIP/PGS
2007 PGS
2008 mTw
2009 Fnatic
2010 Na'VI
2011 Na'Vi probably but its impossible to dominate again like this year!
But seriusly Na'Vi players should stop with drugs if they want to exist in 2012!
Post edited 2010-12-01 03:15:31
and I bet they could repeat a performence like this year, just not as great
Seems like they won almost every event....Congrats!
PS:gj navi(seems former VP to me),plz dont change ur lineup,we already lose wNv,dont want to lose another clan.
Fnatic is still the best,I dont think 1 tournament gonna change anything. They are not playing as nice as the beginning of this year, but they are still leading when they play Na'vi.I think navi is catching up.
hope to see some new face clans nextyear,
Haven't Na`Vi bested Fnatic at majority of the major tournaments throughout the year ? I think even Fnatic can admit that.
I'm not saying they're better because of this.

Please; Na`Vi did well, and they are very good players both individually and as a team, but they are part of the very, VERY small percentage of gamers that make a DECENT living from their winnings, and there are (as many have said before me) many other teams that are on the same level as Na`Vi at the moment, and I think we all know how quick esports can change in terms of global ranking.
well,winning >all to them,
But slow tact to me is boring.
