The KODE5 organisation has released the quarter-final match-ups for the 2010 Global Finals.
The last-chance qualifier ended with the surprise elimination of Venezuelan side NoLimits, who finished behind Lucky Shot and MoNKeY in their group.
In the other group, Money Makers and aMa moved on the main competition, where a total of eight teams will be on show.
The tournament organisation announced during the opening ceremony, which was broadcast via streaming, that Iron Will are on a plane to Peru, but project leader Anton "Sneg" Cherepennikova has already refuted suggestions that his team will be competing at the KODE5 event.
Still, Iron Will have been paired with MoNKeY, and it is unknown whether a replacement for the Russian side will be found, or the Peruvian team will automatically progress to the semi-finals.
KODE5 2010 quarter-finals:
Wild Ineters vs
Money Makers
Iron Will vs
MoNKeY
aMa vs
CNB-Gaming
Artyk vs
Lucky Shot
final: IW vs CNB, IW win GO LEX!!!

REVELATION : MKR.

VAMO CNB!
2. $10.000
3. $5.000
This would have to be one of the worst events that HLTV.org has ever covered i rekn. Its a shame, the past year's KODE5's were actually good :(
I wouldnt be suprised if KODE5 doesnt pay out a single cent of the prize money for this event, nor would i be suprised if this is the last KODE5 event ever held.

Official Statement ProPlay / RopNet, organizer of the qualifying round KODE5 in Russia: Alas, it became known that the Russian teams at this year's KODE5 will not. Winners of national selection Iron Will not go to Peru, where this year's finals are this of Event. As a result, the situation with European teams in the Grand Final KODE5, organizers of the Russian qualifying events and the organizers of KODE5, it was decided not to send IW at the Grand Final because of the lack of sports component of the tournament, and as a consequence of reducing the audience's attention.
thanks to this event any team in Latin America might get some sponsor to travel to the best-known international tournaments
Wild ineters 16 0 Monkey
:)
the only problem is kode5 failed to pay out money last time, so what the use of attending now rigth? that is the only problem.
I think people should GTFO (GET THE FUCK OUT) with the stupid argument that " (whiny 7 year old voice added: but, its in peru"
CNB 16 x 04 Artyk
COME ON CNB
(sorry for my english :D)
lol
it would be awesome to see them in the final :D
Wildi vs CNB in upper bracket and Money Makers vs Artyk inLower Bracket

these are the HLTV:
hltvs.localstrike.net:27015
hltvs.localstrike.net:27016
begin in an hour
Fnatic and mTw should come clean and tell everyone what's going on with Kode5. If Wildi or CNB win, they won't get paid either, just like x6tense got ripped off in Spain and Kode5 did nothing about it.
What's the G7 doing about all this? Aint this one of their mission statements:
"To promote and improve all aspects of professional e-sports and safeguard the general interests of the entire e-sports community"
What a big load of bs. I think they are just safeguarding their own interests by not going public with this crap about kode5.
The truth is out there already. Let's see what they say after this kodefail in Peru. They should have released a statement against kode5 long time ago to avoid more scams.
