12 days of Christmas winner

During the month of December you had the opportunity to win a SteelSeries 7H headset by sending us your Christmas card - Did you win?

Christmas is over and so is 2010, we hope you all had a great holiday season. Now there might be some people still itching themselves, wondering if they won the 12 days of Christmas with SteelSeries. There is no need to prolong it as we have selected the winner, the winning entry can be found below.

It should be Mikael Raphael who was creative with Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell, in order to create his Christmas card to us. Congratulations Mikael, you are the happy winner of a brand new SteelSeries 7H headset.

Picture overall is nice looking, although the creativity is common among most of the Christmas cards. Copy paste a hat on various icons and on a head.. put a few headsets in there for good measure. Insert text with a pun. TADA free 120$ dollars lol


I was expecting some crazy video making animators to animate a CS character and put it on the christmas card with some crazy self-drawn effects or something :P

I must admit, though not to offend anyone, that I found the entries a bit vague, considering the prize.

I agree, I also don't intend to offend anyone. I believe most entries (including myself actually) didn't attempt it in worry that we'd be outmatched by someone way better like in my example above.

I am actually quite surprised that out of the plenty of very useful and talented animators out there, I didn't catch anyone making any animated characters for this event. I'm not saying that these guys aren't good at making Christmas cards, I just mean that they didn't put the effort like I thought they would.

When I asked if a Steelseries product had to be PRESENT in the card Jhonatan E. said yes, I coulda participate..

Not to offend the winner, but that card is really lame, just paste layer over layer and added some really bad cut santa hats/7H

Well congratulations to the winner, although when considering creativity is the main criteria I was expecting a winner which created something all of their own work not copying another intellectual property and pasting some hats on.

But it's still a nice looking card, I'd love to get that in an envelope :D
