We now bring you the first video from ClanBase NationsCup XIV with an entertaining Desert Eagle round.

Spain yesterday provided one of the competition's biggest upsets so far by defeating the runners-up from the last edition, Norway, with a 17-13 scoreline on de_dust2. With a roster composed of relatively unknown players outside of the country, Spain outplayed a Norway team with many experienced faces. In this clip, Victor "xikii" García, a former member of x6tence, found himself in a 1-on-5 situation, and managed to take down four Norway players with a Desert Eagle, three of them with headshots, before being killed by the last player.

like lakayo said deag vs guns, 1v5, against top tier players, it´s still impressive no matter who does it (even though he was using a lot of bullets ;p)

+ this vid isn't much of "WOW GREAT SHOT" or whatever.. in this case all 4 frags were Skill and not luck like in most of those amazing shots u see sometimes...

hey im kinda new to this cs scene, i was just wonderding since these matches are played online, wont their pings be high or something? for example 100ms ping and 50ms ping..??
and doesnt anyone complain that they lost due to high ping? also, isnt playing online increase the chance of cheating some how??

This match was played online, everyone had 50-80 ping. Can't really complain about the ping when it was equal for them all.

Of course playing online increases the chance of cheating, a couple of players have already been caught.

nice? the 1 frag its a completly fail (5 bullets to kill a awp which fails the 1 shot). then 2 bullets to a TT who is with a HE on his hand at over 20hp and fails. then he kills 2 players at 20hp who are running to kill him (obviously fragging). and finally the only legit frag, the 4.

I agree calling off B rush while spotting mid with 3 smokes seems a little strange, but watch the demo.. He knows CTs have an eco round, and when he sees the smoke he calls the B rush off, but Ts have already jumped towards B, that's why we see them returning so late on the demo. On the demo it takes about 2-3 seconds from the time xikii sees the smoke untill the first T stops and turns back. That is prefectly normal human reaction time :)

No wall as far as I can see. Not on this, or any of the other frags.

This Norway team was horrible.....Norway is not a great team they placed 2nd last year because they got lucky as most good countries (Sweden,France,Finland,Ukraine,etc) were without their best players. I dont think this is a major "upset"....teams look balanced to me, Spain and Norway are about the same skill anyway except for some random Norwegian clubs like Catch who used to be good back in the day.
