Iron Will boss Anton "Sneg" Cherepennikov has told coverage.gamesworld.ru that the team have lost three players.
The Russian side were last seen in the market just one month ago, capturing Viktor "Sally" Filimonchenko and Boris "Snoop" Podvalshikov as they hoped to kick start their season.
However, the former Virtus.pro duo have been let go by Iron Will after reportedly failing to impress during their one-month spell with the team. Their contracts with IW expired on the first day of March and the organisation has decided not to extend their deals.
During their time with Iron Will, they attended ASUS Winter, where the team finished runners-up to Moscow Five, and it seems that not clinching the title has made IW undergo changes yet again.
Meanwhile, Alan "Fly" Temirov, who has been with Iron Will since the creation of the team in September, has decided to look for pastures new for unknown reasons and is currently without a home.
Iron Will have already reacted to this loss by picking up Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov, who had been a free agent since the disbandment of the mighty44 project.
The Russian team will make their first appearance with the new line-up at the Intel Challenge Super Cup 7 finals, where they will take on the likes of Na´Vi and Frag eXecutors.
Iron Will now have:
Johan "F_1N" Kochugov
Alexey "LeX" Kolesnikov
Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov
you'll get first post next time...
+hacker
RobbaN when he became the captain was not a problem to play with two people who may be leading in-game.
he can only play if he's leading in-game ?
omg.
with
LeX (IGL/impact player/primary awper
F1_n (role player/Rifles)
HEL1/Dosia (role player/Rifles)
mNr (impact player/Rifles)
h4cker(impact player/Rifles/Secondary awp)
no one else on this team with the exception of a couple (F1_N and HEL1) have the EXP that LeX does, and LeX is the best player in Russia imo, alot of people would say Dosia is, and i agree Dosia is a beast, but i think it is Lex and than Dosia are the two best EASILY in Russia, just like f0rest is the best in SWEDEN followed by of course gtr..
so if this Dreamteam of Russia happened with the exception Dosia, this lineup could compete internationally
but i would like to see
Fox (primary awper, but LeX is still better with the green)
Dosia (rifles/impact player)
LeX (LeX rifles/secondary awp/IGL)
F1_N (rifles/impact player)
mNr/h4cker/HEL1 (rifles)
if Dosia won't leave his team and as long as they could get Fox and Dosia to join with LeX and co. would be AMAZING
gl guys, pick they right player!!!
both could compete internationally imo
if Russia and France want to win an international tournament they need to combine forces and make a super team like the Ukrainians, they would do very well

settle your differences and pwn some ass please!!!
Fly to M5?
no, i dont have anything against russians in general. but the cs1.6 scene is somewhat of a joke. instead of keeping their lineups together they switch players every time they dont win an event, and sometimes even when they win. it's not the way to go if you want to achieve success.
4 players from m5 don't want to play with xek, that's why he was kicked. It's stupid, but they have to change him.
It was Fly decision to leave IW. Sally and Snoop were on trial.
btw, PG changed line-up 3 times in last 3 months, but i don't write "stupid finnish" or smth. Don't draw conclusions about nations from cs.
look at FX and Na´Vi, two teams who were in the IEM global finals and both have maintained the same lineups for over a year. and i know for a fact that there's been a lot of internal conflicts in Na´Vi, but still they stay together because they know that it pays off.
im not saying that you ALWAYS should stick together. but in 4 out of 5 times that is most likely the best decision. and from my personal point of view, this seems to be the problem in russia. you got a lot of talent and potential in the scene, but just not the patience required to keep a lineup together even if things are going bad.
all teams struggle further or later. what differs the good teams from the great teams is the way they work through it and solve the problems instead of feeling forced to switch a player just to, in the end, come to the conclusion that it actually did not affect your team postively at all. instead you just set back your team another month (progress-wise) from reaching your full potential.

F.e example lets take SK.. i think there's no explanation needed. Or mTw, 1 year ago, when they replaced Sunde. Nobody didn't even think that the replacement wast NEEDED(our cs scene), but they did it anyway(the team).
Idk about FX, but Na'Vi didn't even have conflicts as such inside the team. It's a shame you don't understand russian, then you would see in which friendly atmosphere they are, how they live together etc. Maybe you've just heard an interview from ceh9, where he said that they argued a lot before the IEM, but that's normal and i would not say that that are conflicts.
P.S. why do you have a finnish flag, if you're not from finland?
i dont have anything against player changes, of course they are needed from time to time. people change, motivation change etc.
what i meant, though, was that i think the russian mentality needs to change if they'll ever have a team that are able to compete with the best teams in the world. abandoning a lineup after just a month, especially if you actually finished 2nd on an event, looks bad from an outsiders point of view.
my point is that this isnt the first time it happened in russian cs history and it certainly wont be the last. im not saying other countries doesnt do stupid changes as well, because they do indeed, but i think russia is one of of the countries which does it most frequently instead of getting a five man roster together with the attitude that they ARE going to get it to work, or at least give it more than a month or two.

whats happening?
pick xek pleaseeeeeeeee :))))) and AdreN <3
Now people who saw one sally clip from 100years ago shut up please, he sucks... his rifles suck ass and he's awp is only afective against low teams. He's not the same or cs is just to evolved for him to stay at the top like back in the day.
+dosia and fox would be great.
Suposing that iw is beeing supported by Arbalet.
Who will be the 5th in m5 and what ppl will join iron will?
M5: +Fly
+Nikolaj Walujew :)
just read the rumour that M5 are willing to propose evil to join, but evil is rejecting the offer... (at least he is saying that to USSR management)
anyway it is possible to find good chemistry combination from:
Ed1k, Lex, hooch, MNR, Dosia, Fox, hacker, evil, kibaken.... (Fly/Snoop/HEL1/F1N/ROMJKE/hally/xek)
