Lions to lose CS team - Report
According to rakakaworld.com, Lions are on the brink of losing their Counter-Strike division.
The Swedish team's contracts with Lions run until the end of the month, and it is believed the players are not interested in an extension after reportedly becoming unhappy with the organisation's lack of support.
Meet Your Makers, who have been without a CS squad for a month, and Dignitas, whose managing director, Michael "ODEE" O'Dell, was spotted chatting with Björn "threat" Pers at the IEM5 World Championship, are both mooted as likely destinations.
Lions have had the team since August, when they signed the Swedes from H2k Gaming.
Lions about to lose CS team?
After a convincing first-place finish at ASUS Summer, the team has only captured silverware again just once, at the IOL 3 Finals, placing third at MSI Beat It, DSRack and DreamHack Winter and second at the EPS Nordic III finals.
In December, Lions lost hot-shot Richard "Xizt" Landström to fnatic, bringing in Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl in his place.
The move has, however, produced few results, as the team finished 5th-6th at the IEM5 European Championship and did not go beyond the group stage at the IEM5 World Championship.

I think that in top team you need strong awp. Look at fnatic(dsn, delpan)/navi(markeloff, starix)/fx (pasha, neo). With those your game is more unpredictable, btw nice to watch. :D
Sk unfortunately have only normal robban and f0rest on de_train. It's not enough imo.

they are still not a real topteam like fnatic, sk, mtw, fx and navi yet. thus, in my opinion, they dont deserve salaries or more so: they should be happy with the support Lions are/have been giving them.

dignitas is one of the best organisations out there, by far. If Lions 'could' join them I hope for their sake they'd practice and put in time and effort in without any roster changes. ODEE always been a good manager that has lived upto his word and offered 120% full support for any team that has played under dignitas brand, would have liked to see them or FragEx join purely cos their 'work ethic' in game seems something that'll develop over the next few years

p.s. amount of media attension and the length of contracts/sponsorship dignitas has is rediculous. The approach things differently than most orgs and have mega backing for every player in their org, mym always been good here and there, dig are consistant so if anything happens I hope they do their research well :}
