Mojo Amsterdam have announced the acquisition of the FAMAZING lineup.
The Dutch team were the surprise package at The Party 9, finishing in second place at the event in Eindhoven in an event in which they beat the likes of Antwerp Aces and LowLandLions.
Mojo Amsterdam, who also contain a FIFA and a Starcraft II division, have secured the services of what is considered one of the most promising teams in the Benelux.
"Mojo stands for young talents and youngsters. It was supposed to be a school project of three friends of mine, but has evolved into something bigger," Guido "guidson" Mendes told HLTV.org.
"We convinced them with our performance at The Party 9 and now they will fully support our team with everything we need."
Questioned about his team's campaign last weekend, Mendes stated it was a sign they will need to be taken into consideration in future events.
"I think we really performed well at The Party 9, none of the teams or the top players thought we would beat any top team in the competition," he added.
"We left something big at The Party 9. Like a warning sign: 'We are here, keep your eyes open and never underestimate us'"
The former FAMAZING team will make their first appearance for Mojo at the BYOC qualifier for DreamHack, after which they plan on attending the Dutch WCG qualifier.
Mojo Amsterdam now have:
Floren "faah" Alvarez
Julien "tazzie" Giacomelli
Guido "guidson" Mendes
Lex "lex0r" Dukker
Danny "Han-G" Baws
