After a hectic Xperia PLAY event with tons of great rounds, we now return to our exclusive movie project, bringing you an amazing round by one of Sweden's greatest.
Towards the end of 2003, SK announced that Christoffer "brunk" Forsberg had left the team after growing unhappy at his lack of playing time since the arrival of Ola "ElemenT" Moum. However, since the Norwegian could not play for SK at the WCG, SK called in Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed, who would help the team win the event in Seoul.
In this frag highlight, Mohamed patiently waits in the middle after his team had planted the bomb on the B site and then kills three Team 3D players to win the round for SK.

Oh, excuse me Mr.Pro maybe you didn't know but this was back when SpawN played for SK as a stand-in and he was still nowhere the level we know where he can be. And not to mention they met the best team in the world at that time so when you kill 3 people like that at the final of WCG 2003, call me. The deal is back in the day anyone with 5hrs of pratctice could do stuff like SpawN... and it was easy to get on top back then... today the facts that you mention are changing every day.

But if you're so much more awesome and better than SpawN why don't you qualify for the WCG and let's see what you got since you think you're some hotshot. Was it easy to get back on top then? Maybe you didn't know who played back then, here I'll show you: SK, 3D, NoA, mouz, MiBR, team9, zEx, 4Kings, The Titans, Begrip, mTw, x6tence, aAa. Those were the teams that could challenge for the titles. And who the heck do we have now? NaVi, FX, SK, mTw, I'm not gonna mention fnatic because we saw what they have showed after IEM 5 European and in my opinion they were lucky in that tournament but that's off topic. As you see, back then it was a bigger challenge and more hard than it is today to win a big tournament. At the time of this clip (2003) Spawn was only 17, the game hadn't even been around that long.

Yeah. That pretty much explains my reason for not finding this too amusing. I started playing in '06 and following the international scene around wcg '07. And by then this was already a very ordinary thing. So, only the people who have been around for that long and know all of those things are able to appreciate it.

yes it was not that tactically evolved, but on the other hand it is interesting how each players role and movement on a certain map was very strictly determined. also they played a lot slower back then. that started changing radically in 2007-08 i believe.
