According to rakaka.se, former TyLoo captain Zhengwei "alex" Bian will collaborate with BenQ to mount a new Chinese team.
In December 2010, the former wNv Gaming talent announced he would go into retirement after World e-Sport Masters, reasoning the decision with his age.
However, Bian reappeared at the Chinese Intel Extreme Masters 5 qualifier in January, where he led GANK to a second-place finish.
Partnering up with consumer electronics giant BenQ, Bian is now back to shake up the Chinese scene in hopes to create a team able to compete in the top.
The Chinese tactical mastermind is also a part of ZOWIE Gear, for whom he is a marketing coordinator with focus on the China region, as well as a part of their roster of former e-sport athletes.

It is not unlikely that Bian's newly announced project with BenQ has ties to the cooperative work ZOWIE did together with them on their newest gaming monitor.
Bian and BenQ's project seeks to recruit 10 Chinese players, aged between 18 and 22, who boast qualities such as motivation, intelligence and confidence.
It seems as though applicants are required not to have played for a professional team in the past, seemingly because they are looking for young, perhaps undiscovered, talent.
The right composition of players will be found through a series of steps: applications, auditions, interviews, and lastly, a final selection phase.
The project's goal is to create a team that, with the right kind of support and work, will be able to compete on a top international level – perhaps a Chinese edition of Natus Vincere.
Eventually, the team will receive professional guidance by no other than Bian himself, who will act as some kind of team mentor.

The qualifying process will be nationwide, according to the official website, but the actual cities are currently undisclosed. However, the biggest cities are expected to be targeted.
Zhengwei "alex" Bian rose to fame in 2005, when he was elected MVP of ESWC 2005, the first ever to have received the award without reaching the tournament's final.
Throughout his time, he has received favorable reception through his achievements at events such as World e-Sport Masters and ESWC, and especially for his in-game leadership.
