SK Gaming has triumphed in the German courts over former sponsor Kimikuro, where a dispute over payments owing SK Gaming saw the German organization take legal action back in April.
Back in February of 2010, SK Gaming announced a new main sponsor Kimikuro, which is a product to boost your energy in the form of an "Energy shot". A year has since passed, and we broke the news that SK Gaming were taking an un-named sponsor to court. The company was never named, but today after receiving the good news SK Gaming Managing Director Alexander "TheSlash" Müller announced on his twitter that SK had prevailed.
"Just got word from our lawyers: we won against the former sponsor, court decided in our direction. The fight was worth it! Eat this Kimikuro"
Müller told HLTV.org that SK Gaming had fulfilled their end of the bargain for the entire twelve month contract, which included advertising and testimonials for the Kimikuro energy shot.

Kimikuro lost court trial to SK Gaming
However it appears as though Kimikuro neglected to pay their monthly amount right from the very first month. After several months of not paying, SK Gaming began legal action against Kimikuro.
Kimikuro tried to argue that since the company was bought out after signing with SK Gaming, the burden of payment should fall onto the original owners.
SK Gaming successfully sued Kimikuro for a sum of somewhere in the tens of thousands of dollars, plus court costs.
