The second edition of the German League Cup is ready to kick off, as the matchups for round one for Winter season have been drawn.
The first edition of the German League Cup was won by mousesports, who went on to defeat ESC Gaming (the German squad) 2-0 in the Grand Final last month.
Season two is now ready to get underway and the ESL has drawn the matchups for round one, which will be played August 8-14. Round one will see 32 teams being cut down to 16 who will progress to round two. The matchups for round one are:

Each round will feature a draw to determine the matchups, meaning we will never know who will face each other in the next round. Matches will be played in a best-of-one map mode, only the Grand Final will be played best-of-three maps.

with all do respect to aim41 but plenty of teams could have thrown them out first round? :P and it's not like frantic.sno will make it to the semi final unless the random drawing puts them up against weak teams by luck :P
