Frag eXecutors has defeated SK Gaming and won the 2011 edition of e-Stars Seoul. This is the second year in a row the Poles has won the prestigious South Korean event.
The final started off on de_tuscan with Fx starting out as terrorists. Fx mounted some good early pressure but seemed to run out of steam allowing SK to pick up some critical rounds towards the end of the half to take slender 8-7 lead to SK. SK continued their momentum and took rounds with ease in the second half and closed out the match quickly 16-9.
With SK winning de_tuscan, and the teams on even level now the Grand-final would be decided on de_inferno. Fx started out as counter-terrorists and both teams were neck and neck. A mix up in strategy from SK allowed Fx to win a round they really should not have won. This round would prove costly later on. At the halfway stage SK once again took a narrow 8-7 lead.
The second half commenced and Fx jumped out to an early lead, at one point it was 14-9 in favour of Fx. SK rallied back and managed to bring it all the way back to 14-14 with only the two rounds remaining. Fx won the 29th round and it looked like they had it in the bag, however SK managed to pick up the final round to send it into overtime.
The small overtime break really seemed to help Fx more, as they started to play a really aggressive counter-terrorist half in the overtime. Fx picked up all three rounds with the change of sides. In the second overtime, Fx looked close to closing it out on the tow rounds, but it was not to be. Eventually their joy came as picked up the crucial round at the last possible opportunity.
Frag eXecutors were victorious and take home the first place cheque for 15,000,000 WON which is roughly $13,800 and the title of e-Stars Seoul 2011 champions for the second year in a row.

[and yes I've checked the number of zeros]
Even the 8th place gets 25,000 $ which is greater that the sum of the 1st two here...
It is very sad indeed.
Instead of fighting on which team is better and arguing over it, we should support the game and develop a great community!
For CS forever!

FX defeated SK twice, and they also defeated Na'Vi. Now, you can look who took second, and third place.
Na'Vi won the most tournaments in 2010, they defeated FX, SK, mTw or fnatic several times. Does it mean they are the best?
"Someone's must be the best. How do you want to choose, if not looking at LAST results and tournament?"
AT THE MOMENT FX is the best team.
compare at d winning streak of sk vs Fx buddy..!!
u'l cum to kno whz d best..!!
And its currently wid FX so FX is best team in the world currently
dat mnz if d very next championship EG winz den dey r d champs??
Then wats the use of winning championships?

Frightening to see only 8k watching hltv btw, CS:GO can't come soon enough.
Well deserved FX.
Could have gone either way, gg SK :)
Frag eXecutors 4ever !!
GJ FX, congrats to you
SK has a great team, with great players, 2 top aimers, top awper... they are awesome, yea
But nowadays FX is in better shape, which means, they are better.
Why? maybe because SK didn't practice too much? [taz said that on iview] maybe.. but it doesn't matter, if they knew that they woulnd need to practice more to win this event for sure they would, they didn't expect that FX could break their victories [and 0 losess]

They have pasha who has now become an outstanding 5th for them, so they should stay top 5 for awhile.
I should also they can easily become the best team of 2011 if they keep playing as well as they did this tournament. They need to win some more tournaments though.
FX seems like they are always extremely solid, and if they do go down, its always a very tough fight for their opponents. I've always thought of them as the team with the strongest will to win since 2006.

Great play by FX and SK, gratz!!
When FX win Sk I have a question. Where is SK fantrollboys ?
gj all top.
btw. stop speak with sk is better or fx win with lucky or the map is bad for sk, they lose because fx were just better on this tournament.
This time it went to FX, hands down
FragExecutors give sk 2 opportunities, FragExecutors wins in both ocassions, it eliminates any randomnes, if there ever was any.
see follows, interesting:D
9-12： Project_kr (korean) UMX x6tence UMX.us + 4,000,000韩元（$4000）
13-16： Spero Spera (korean) SiZ (korean) Lunatic (korean) ONEPIECE (korean) + 500,000韩元（$500）
But SK has more frag power in their star players f0rest and get_right. If NaVi doesn't get back in shape then it will probably be a toss-up between these two for best team of 2011.
Fighting Spirit: Top1
Fighting Spirit: Top3
FX has Neo, who is as good as get_right or f0rest, but the rest of FX aren't players who I would say are top5 or top10 in the world in fragpower alone. They are all very good, obviously, but I think individually SK's other players equal or outshine them.
But we will see. Obviously this tournament they put up big numbers. I still think FX isn't a team that relies on individual performances as much as teamwork and willpower - even Neo doesn't seem to be as much of a one-man army as in previous years, relying more on his team.
Team work of SK > rest of the teams
that y they are winning consistently
the Calls were too slow on FX CT side
SK players were immediate on the calls on CT side
they detected each fake rush and gave hard fight to FX each round
but for SK in T side the rounds were getting over pretty fast because the FX-CT were slow on the calls most of the time
But FX got their shit together and came out as a winner.
Very well done! Congratulations.
PS good game FX and SK !
For people that wanna see last rounds:
The 1st place could get a prize like $30000,00
Much better than just $13800
Whether or not CS needs being kept alive or that the pricemoney is actually good, just that valve and riot make them seem really low i don't know.
I agree that prizes for all encourage more teams to go for the tournament, but the same time it stimulates small squads, that discourages the major organizations too..
I don't know if my opinion was totally clear, but that was not how they should do the prizes distribution but just an example to differentiate a winner from a loser.. with the prizes distribution that was chosen, there's no big difference in being the first or third place.. in my opinion
when it comes to forge i couldnt say a thing cuz i don't read the map well but one thing i got is edward's always the last alive left for a clutch play, fuckkkkk how could this to explain ?????
my explanation is he's as the same pace with the team anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am a fan of edward but now hes too bad even couldnt do a thing on train i am so disappointed
ave realize it and snatch this opportunity making rush to his defensive site again and again..fuck
u wanna destory edward......:((((
mb its time for Angel to showup
last words fuck nuke bad edward wake up man wake up man fucking wake up plz man
SK give their match away by forgetting the bomb that 1 round, if they would have won that it should have been 10-5 for SK first half.
stupid mistake, but credits for FX they played strong, especially neo.
Cant wait to see SK the next tournament when they have loads of practice!

What's the next tournament on the agenda ? Really looking forward for more good games.
kuben :D nice photo :D
And Pasha is exploiting!
what if loord arm was never broken, how much better than SK than they already was today could they had been? Uh i dont want to think about it :P
2. SK Gaming $11,000
3. Natus Vincere $9,200
4. mTw $7,350
I would say that is the exact rankings of this year!!
Again Neo the best player in the world ;)
