Today we present you a batch of frag highlights performed by Russian players in the Russian WCG qualifier which took place last weekend in "Sokolniki" Exhibition Center in Moscow.

The first two highlights came from the first quarter-final between Team 44 from Yekaterinburg and Attention from the far eastern city Khabarovsk. In the last round of the first half of the first map, Kirill "toyot1k" Peregudov took an m4a1 and went to defend bomb site A. He managed to take down three with the m4a1, he moved to the other side of the site to kill the last two with his USP.

After team 44 were eliminated on de_dust2 with score 9-16 the game moved to de_inferno, where one more beautiful action took place. In round 13, Attention's player Inqub bought the AWP and killed five fully-equipped enemies in banana-area.

Team 44 made a great comeback, being down 2-13 at the half to eventually win the second map 16-14. On a third map, de_nuke, team Attention were unable to capitalise and went down 10-16 and failed to pass quarter-finals stage.

The other quarter-final where the next video is from, was between team Rigid from Saint-Petersburg and Dino Experiment who came to Moscow from a far northern city Yakutsk. The clash finished with an easy victory of Rigid with 16-6 and 16-8 scores, on de_inferno and de_nuke respectively. In 15th round of the second map, Nikita "Ster1o" Alekseyev was equipped with armour and a m4a1 rifle, managing to take down four yakut players, one with an amazing wallbang.

The first semi-final was between the legendary Virtus.pro and the already known team 44. On the first map, de_tuscan muscovites completely smashed the ural team with a 16-4 score. The second map, de_dust2, became a hot battlefield where the match went into overtime. In the first overtime terrorists rushed catwalk, but had been taken down by Virtus.pro member Mikhail "evil" Garanin, who managed to kill four opponents with his famas, all with headshots.

In a third place decider between Rigid and 44, two actions took place, both on the second map, de_tuscan. In the eleventh round, Igor "tequila" Malkevich left in one-on-five situation and managed to kill four enemies and save his rifle.

A few rounds later, Andrey "fAst1k" Smirnov took down one opponent on A plant and a little after found himself in 2 versus 4 situation and killed three opponents with his AK47 to win the round.

In the end, team Rigid lost in a close game, with 16-13 score on both maps. And team 44 took the 3rd place and $3,500 reward.

The final match between Moscow Five and Virtus.pro was a year-long derby for the title of best Russian team. This time teams needed all three maps to identify the winner. First map was de_nuke where Virtus.pro were able to win with a close 16-13 score. In the fourteenth round Roman "hacker" Abramov was defending the upper site fully-equipped. He stopped the terrorists' attack with his rifle killing four M5 guys, twice through the smoke.

On the third map, Vadim "micE" Zimin made some movie material in a very first round of the clash. He left one versus four enemies with bomb planted inside the close spot, equipped with USP. He was able to take down all M5 players one by one to win the round.

In the end Virtus.pro lost de_train with 11-16 score and with that lost the final match 1-2. Despite that, they got a $4,500 reward and WCG spot, while Moscow Five earned $6,000 and WCG spot with all expences covered.
