Perhaps the biggest suprise of the poll is the inclusion of our very own Marc "Nix0n" Winther, whom on a call for help from his countrymen mTw, played the three matches in the groupstage as a stand-in for the team. The six contenders for the MVP award are:

to be honest he just played 3 games and yeah had a decent performence but nohting awesome or amazingly happend there a good pistol round a few 2k can every pro do. i would not even put nixon in the pool in there. if this pool would be more about rookies or something then ok but its about the MVP. i really thought he would play a lot worse but sometimes you saw that nixon doesnt have the experience like rotating fast on calls and some on.

I honestly don't think it's about the prize. Each and everyone (well, most of them, at least) of those in that list probably have pilled up such amounts of gear that make the gear prize matter little. It's about the title itself, for those who play it on a pro level, it's another achievement on their CV.

Nixon clearly wasn't the best player of this event, but that's not what this poll is about. It's about being the MVP, and he sure was the MVP for mTw. Had he not played for them (and shot himself some heads) mTw wouldn't even have advanced from the group (maybe not even attended), and now they're very likely to take the 3rd place because of him... i can say english is my main language and therefore i understood all you said perfectly. The thing is, MVP award is given to the player who had most impact in the whole tournament, which carried their team the best K/D ratios and all that, and looking at that, nixon shouldnt even be in the pool. I agree he helped alot mTw, and he did good. But as for MVP award, he just doesnt have anything to back it up

Ridiculous that Nix0n is nominated instead of zonic. zonic and trace carried their team throughout the whole tournament and this may very well be zonic's last event, he deserves something like this.
