FRAGGED BY tops WCG Georgia

The Georgian World Cyber Games qualifier took place this past weekend in the Qarvasla Mall in Tbilisi, with FRAGGED BY qualifying for WCG 2011 with a 2-1 victory against REALIZE.

With one year absence from World Cyber Games, Georgia featured a qualifier, which would see one team win a paid trip to Busan next month, to compete in the WCG 2011 Grand Finals.

The qualifier final featured FB taking on REALIZE in a best-of-three maps series to determine the winner. The teams started on de_inferno, with FB taking the 1-0 lead with a 16-6 win. Second map de_dust2 saw REALIZE strike back, winning 16-5 to force a third and all deciding map.

Third and final map de_tuscan saw FB claim a 2-1 victory, winning 16-8 to qualify for the WCG 2011 Grand Finals in Busan, South Korea.


FB qualified for WCG 2011

FRAGGED BY will travel to Busan with the following lineup:

George "sims" Gelashvilis
Mikheil "Kvijo" Kvizhinadze
Vladislav "BaXa" Rashkov
Luka "KAROLA" Karoli
Lasha "jajo" Kapanadze

In Busan the Georgians are likely to lock horns with some of the CS giants, as SK Gaming, AGAiN, Electronic Sahara, mandic, DTS and others will also be present at the event.
