Defining Stars disband

Defining Stars have announced the disbandment of their CS squad.

After it was revealed that k1ck had added Ricardo "rmn" Oliveira, it was still unknown what would happen to Defining Stars, who were now down to four players. After some domestic wins over their rivals throughout the year, Defining Stars ended up 2011 in a bad way, without even making it to the finals of XLParty after falling down twice against NorthernGrade. 

It was also announced that both André "keznitt" Morais and João "DARKY" Ribeiro will step down from gaming.

João "DARKY" Ribeiro
João "ehz" Monteiro

What will happen to João "ehz" Monteiro and Tiago "dzt" Gonçalves is still unknown, but stay tuned for the latest news here at HLTV.org.

it seemed to alternate imo, overall i'd say kick was more talented but defs was more organized...just my opinion

one of the Portuguese guys would have a better opinion on this being that they get to see most of their league matches (i would imagine) or play/practice against them

k1ck was number 1 from the start. the thing was that defs practised all the time and were very well prepared for tournaments. At least, two finals between defs and k1ck, we saw defs predicting everything k1ck did cuz they studied them and k1ck didn't practise. k1ck had a lot of changes, their players had a big ammount of work in university, and then there's the SHOUW losing motivation thing. I know him personally and know he hadn't been motivated to play cs for over a year before this. All in all k1ck had a bad year and defs made it to the top, but the best team was and will always be k1ck.

sad for portugal, i thought this lineup was pretty decent, along with k1ck whey didn't get too many chances to show it on a international level

with the new k1ck lineup we now have a team that's is the Allstar team in Portugal. rmn is, imo the best aimer in pt. we saw him in WCG making tremendous plays. I remember againt ESC they were losing hard and rmn made 3 rounds where he, with a deagle killed 2-3 guys each round with singles. amazing play

That is subjective, because mUt is not the same he was 1/2 years ago, also SHOUW is inactive with no motivation.
