Earlier this week we announced the photo of the year competition by ROCCAT giving you a chance to win a Taito mousepad and a Kova[+] mouse - now it's time to find out the winner.

The competition's idea was to find the best photo posted on HLTV.org's galleries during 2011 and users had a chance to post their opinion in the news post's comments with HLTV.org set to randomly draw a winner today.

The winner is #379 matrixtrace who posted the following photo:

SHIT, i broke accidentally my ec2 blue's switches which means that mouse1 and mouse2 is easier to click and it means that i can't play with my lovely ec2 blue nymore, so far i have to play with logitech RX250

6/11 :P, so nope i didn't :P, and lowering win sensitivy lowers the tracking quality also, but i doubt that it can get any worse tracking than it has already

3.5 with 1000 dpi is quite a madness as far as I see it. Maybe the difference might be the mousepad used I do not know.

The tracking is quite find if you ask me. The mousepad might again be the factor, allowing you to manage those 1000 dpi at that high sensitivity but not letting the mouse track correctly.

As far as I know that mouse model only features 1000 dpi.

You tried on another one and the same?

I am using it, well actually was as its left click ended up stuck, on a cheap textile mousepad and the tracking was fine (not find* as in #113).
Sometimes cheap mousepads work better with cheap mice ::)

Puretrak talent does its' job well, and i will try with vespula since i dont have any cheap mousepad :O. But luckily the vespula's surface is faster than puretrak's so i will notice some kind of difference

Wow, I really did not expect that. In fact I forgot that I took part in it, I learnt I'm the winner by sheer accident several minutes ago. It's the first time I have won something.
I would like to thank GTR for making the winner pose that I really enjoy and that made me a winner :)

I hope you will use the mouse and mousepad 24/7, since these two peripheals would be in use 24/7 at my home... using Logitech RX250 (Office mouse) for gaming is rather funny experience, considering i had used Ec2 (one of the best sensors available on the market) for 3 months.
