GAMESTATION.GIGATRON has finished just minutes ago with Macedonian ENTiTY coming out victorious in the grand final against HEADSHOTBG.

The tournament was held in Delta City mall in the Serbian capital Belgrade and took place over the weekend with a total of 34 teams participating from five different countries around the Balkans.

After the group stage was completed on day one with sixteen teams advancing, the playoffs began on Sunday. In the end it was ENTiTY, HSBG, iNation and saints who made it to final four.


ENTiTY once again on the podium 

First semi final pitted ENTiTY and iNation against each other, and the Macedonians came out on top with close 16-12 and 22-19 wins on de_inferno and de_train. HSBG met fellow countrymen saints, and took them down in three maps with a 16-9 win on de_inferno, a 14-16 loss on de_train and finally a 16-10 win on de_mirage.

In the third place decider local team iNation managed to take down saints 2-1 in a close game that saw them win de_inferno 16-11, lose de_dust2 14-16 and then claim a convincing 16-1 win on de_tuscan.

The two favorites going into the event met in the grand final, and although ENTiTY managed to win 2-0, the series was still close. In the end, ENTiTY went on to win 16-12 on de_train and 16-11 on de_inferno.

GAMESTATION.GIGATRON was the first event for both ENTiTY and HSBG after their roster changes in December and earlier this month which saw Semih "Osama" Kamil and Veselin "Geko" Ganchev join.

Prices are not good...fees were 60E, 34*60 = 2040E, but only 1300E in prizes...they had sponsors and everything but still shitty prizes

they paid for using inet cafe for 2 days around 400/500e so if u count that in it's just 340/240e for the organisers, judges etc... + the tournament was played in an inet cafe which is in Delta City mall, and Delta city works from 10 to 22h so they needed to do many things about getting permits to stay at Delta City at night.

ok than u organise a tournament with 34 teams, get them discount in hostel, get those permits in a mall, find a sponsor who will give u something, do all than and dont take 1 euro + find 4 or 5 people who will help u and be there 4 days working for free and then tournament would have 1600e prize money ...

I must agree. Thats prizes peace of bullshit really. 1. Make a tournament with high prizes. 2. As you cant give high prizes then let it down and dont organise it cuz it sucks.

Example: A team flying to these event, e.g. from BG to SRB. Every player paid 200-250€ per flight thats make 1000-1250€ and 1st place is only 900€. So can you found the joke? Defenitely i cannot laught about this. Organizator like stealing money and put by self as give as prizes. Sick. And Sponsor only sponsoring 5 pads, thats another big joke. So only teams from Serbia self provit from 1st place cause they dont need to flight and spar money!

1st of all,they announced it clearly,1/3 of all the money(2040e) is going for the internet caffe for 2 days.1 hour in that caffe is roughly 2e,so mind 40 computers 4 2 days.
2nd?five pads?its 5cooler-master computers(cm-enforcer) not pads..do ur homework before posting pls..
3rd,a flight ticket from bulgaria to serbia (i dont know the exact amount) but sure isn't 250e.

The prizes aren't bullshit if you consider that average pay in Serbia is roughly 300e a month!

That internet cafe is located in one of 2 biggest shopping malls in Belgrade, a couple of thousands people walk through it every day. Cafe itself don't give a damn whose money will they take, and to reserve that amount of computers for 2 days (even extend work hours of shopping mall) costs a lot of money which had to be taken from prizes..
And computers they've got, cost a couple of hundred euros each!

Sofia is 388km away from Belgrade. Traveling by car, if ur car spends 10litres of gasoline per 100km ,and it does not unless u drive some piece of shit, on open highway u spend ~40l of gasoline, in serbia 1l of gasoline is 1.2e so traveling from Sofia by car to Belgrade and back to Sofia is ~96e divide that with 5 persons.
and depending on the border u would get to Belgrade from Sofia in roughly 5 hours.

Edit so expences are 60euro buy-in 100e for travel 40e for accomodation and for eating/drinking/smoking another 100e. so the team from BG needs 300e or 60e per person.
