Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has introduced Arsenal Mode, an altered version of the popular GunGame modification.
Most of you have probably tried the GunGame modification. Created with AMX Mod X, the objective is to get a kill with every weapon featured in the game in order, usually starting with the glock.
Valve, who are working on the upcoming sequel Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, have now added an altered version of the GunGame modification to the game.
Explained by the developers themselves on their blog, the Arsenal: Demolition mode works as follows:
"Arsenal Demolition is a fast paced mix of bomb planting and gun progression. There are no buy menus, you start with a rifle and if you get a kill that round – you get a progressively weaker weapon in the next round.
After 5 rounds the sides switch and you do it again, for a total of 10 rounds."
This is not the only Arsenal mode that will be added to the game. The developers plan to incorporate the traditional GunGame modification, here named Arsenal: Arms Race, to the game later.
Along with the announcement, made on March 9, the development team began another round of invites, giving an additional 10,000 players access to the beta stage.

and ofc it's the first CS for consoles, so modes like this are great if you want to just play from your sofa
Valve, why are you so incompetent and stupid?
CS:GO looks and feels like bullshit, and you care about some unnecessary mods? Where's zombie mod huh?
It was clear from the beginning, but now it is obvious - CS:GO will never-ever be good.
CS:GO developers:
Why they don't want to do simple and competetive game for pro playing with good graphic equating with the other games in 2012?
Only CSPromod developers want to do it but some devs are wise-ass and they're doing it too long/slow.
imo, Game Editors don't give a shit about competition... its only about sells!
Competitive games mean that Editor won't be able to sell another "same" game the next year (like activision do with COD1 2 3 4...), or addons, or map packs, etc...
It's a fucking console buisness plan = "Never do the perfect game! Always do games that can be enhanced in the futur"

cs:go < indian movies.
I do understand that you want CS:GO to resemble cs1.6 as much as possible, but I don't see any sense crying about new game modes. They don't affect the actual gameplay of competitive cs, but these new modes can help to attract new players to the game.
